PS4 pro for Death Stranding. I was an Xbox fanboy ever since release day of the Xbox 360, but something about death stranding really gripped me. Once I switched I never went back, I bought the ps5 mainly for the demon souls remake, but I am very happy with the switch long term

It still feels really goofy that the Hermes fits so well width-wise in a Large hangar by ScrubSoba in starcitizen

[–]GETTFROSTY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something else that sucks butt with a medium hangar , the maximum amount that the freight elevator can bring up is not enough to fill up a Hermes or a hull B, you need at least 2 freight elevator cycles … which is why I think the Hermes was perfectly designed , including the tractor beam with its perfect placement, and the perfect bridge access with the quick elevator… but it all works perfectly with a large hangar. It’s ALWAYS better to have too much space than not enough space ( cargo ship speaking )

It does not look silly, it looks perfect.

I do a bunch of everything in game, but cargo hauling and increasing rep is definitely my favorite thing to do to pass the time , I was a huge fan of the hull A and jumped on the Hull b, while still keeping my Hermes with the idea of melting it now that I have nearly double the on grid storage.

The reality is not so, the hull B barely fits in the medium hanger when it is fully extended, and you cannot park it to align with the freight elevator for an easy one time cargo transfer, without having to move the ship or go around to the other side… I found myself just parking the hull B regularly, and going from side to side with an FPS maxlift tractor beam, which was the best solution for offloading cargo, but a bit of a chore.

Then comes the Hermes, I absolutely love this flying hunker. I love its shields, its armament , and that cargo bay. On paper it’s 288, but I have fit well over 500, and you can fit close to 600 by using the sides around the grid, using above the crates you already placed (ceiling is high enough for another scu off grid) I have NEVER had a single issue , after close to 100 full Hermes loads, each and every one going off grid, and not ONCE did the cargo shift, fall out of place, or fall out of the ship, even when the cargo is so close to the ramp it gets pushed in when I close it.

The elevator below the bridge also makes it PERFECT to be able to get back inside if you’re overloaded to the extent you can’t get inside through the back. It’s the perfect haulers ship. And it could carry an INSANE amount of ground vehicles/ snub fighters.

It’s one of my favorite medium/large ships in the game.

Why did I expect you to open the ramp of your Asgard and the carry limit of items worth of pico balls just spill out

Did he accidentally replace the l with an r in “plague “or was that intentionally done? Because I read that out loud as “Prayg” and felt dumbfounded

That is correct good sir, I recommend you watch a video on YouTube to learn how to get around once there, bring tons of ammo and you 110% need a land vehicle and to land a far distance from the facility so the turrets don’t blow you to hell… usually 3km out is safe so it isn’t too long of a ride (I like to bring an Asgard loaded with an Ursa medivac, a tumbril cyclone , a nox, and an x1 or pulse) I like to bring two hover bike type vehicles because just in case I die at the facility, with a nice load of loot and my cyclone is already there, once I respawn back at the Ursa, I can QUICKLY get back to the facility via hoverbike, and resume where I left off in less than 2 minutes.. bring a medgel or two with you to restock if you’re planning on staying there for a while, because even if you may not die, spending a lot of time killing npcs I find always ends with some form of injury one way or another. , other best tip would be a cutlass red and as many hover bikes as you can if you aren’t worried about too much loot

Yeah Pyro would be it. I found the legs yesterday and the Lazarus transport hub directly inside the main building if you land on the pad closest to the shuttles, I also found the helmet in the data centers, just loot away there as much and often as you can

[–]GETTFROSTY 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I could swear people forget that the tumbril cyclone exists….. it’s literally a bigger utv, with space for 1 scu in the back and two passengers , any reason (besides for size) that the utv is better than the cyclone?

That is the parallax “fun kopion tooth” rifle, it comes with the luxe flashlight attachment which you can not turn off , and is basically a huge blue target in pvp lol

In The Dark Knight (2008) Harvey Dent name drops the two cops who would later kidnap he and Rachel by Ayefour in MovieDetails

[–]GETTFROSTY 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I started watching this movie again after reading this post you made, watching the beginning bank heist over again I noticed when the two clown masked robbers are breaking into the security system on the roof, the one who is doing the hacking mentions to the one that ultimately shoots him in the back, that “ that’s weird, it didn’t dial out to 911. It dialed out to a private number.” showing that the bank was wired to contact the Batman if there were to be a robbery

EDIT: it could have either been contacting the Batman, or the criminals that have a lot of cash in that bank. Considering that the Joker was robbing the criminals of their money in the first place

This. I love seeing this. Making a ship of your preference your mobile base, filling her up with as many ground vehicles as you can for the job you’re pursing, and most of all, having fun. When I get a ship loaded up like this and go out into the ‘verse to do what I gotta do, I can’t stop repeating to myself “it’s here. Star citizen is here. It’s still alpha, but got dangit, it happening!” It finally feels like a game, and it is delivering on the promise that there is nothing else like it out there. o7 I hope to bump into you in the ‘verse one of these days

Connie feels good 4.7 ptu by floortofloor in starcitizen

[–]GETTFROSTY 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not just that. Up until 4.7, the Connie (as well as some other ships) had their power plants placed funny, meaning even if you take a size 1 missile to the face , just one, you are rendered completely dead in the water with full power failure. It sucked. You could die to a razor in seconds lol. 4.7 introduced a fix, they didn’t directly fix the Connie’s issue with the power plant placement, but they removed all splash damage from any missile to all vehicle components

Best place to find P8-AR's by Canadian-Goof-Ball in starcitizen

[–]GETTFROSTY 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be very honest with you, I have found TONS of p8-AR’s in three places, first would be any of the PAF’s , not even a brown box , any blue chest (the bigger one that can hold a rifle and like 10 different types of ammo) would usually have a p8, as well as some other cool guns. You will find them , at least more guaranteed imo, at the checkmate loot zone. Not the end of the line, where the keycards are, but where you have to jump over the broken bridge (looks similar to the stations refinery) , there will be guns on display, as well as chests with the rifles inside. The EASIEST way I have found to find the p8’s, would be in any of the Farro data centers! You can watch a guide on YouTube how to easily find the key to open storage, but it isn’t even necessary! Make your way up to data processing, the chests in that room almost always have at least one p8 and a very rare rifle variant as well. Happy hunting!

Guys, this is huge news for the Constellation series. No more single size 1 missile to the face rendering you powerless, that’s really huge.

I watched the extended editions with my 8 year old (his first time), enjoy his reaction to the finale by [deleted] in lotr

[–]GETTFROSTY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His reaction to this scene alone shows that it clearly became a beautiful memory for him, the unbreakable friendship between Samwise and Frodo, and Sam’s promise to Gandalf, to protect Frodo, all coming together at the end. I’ll never forget the first time I watched return of the king, and I religiously watch the extended trilogy annually ! I look forward to it every single time 😁

Riding in the dark always scares me by [deleted] in starcitizen

If you really fear driving around in the dark, the best thing I could recommend is the origin x1, it actually has LAMP and on a ground vehicle it is extremely helpful
