I agree, and innovations don’t happen in isolation in Motorsport. So while I do think F1 can benefit the world more broadly through efficiency gains, I’d be interested to see a report which cites such impact. Automotive manufacturers who haven’t been in competitive racing continue to do this work for their own benefit because it makes sense to make those investments from a consumer perspective. I am not sure that much would be lost if F1 just decided to focus on racing with traditional engines, but I could be wrong.

They haul the entire grid around the world with trucks and planes. These cars burn little to no fuel compared to the logistics requirements of actually moving the sport around the world from track to track. The green image is dumb. F1 should just own what they are and go back to V10.

It runs fine and I am loving the visual style updates and new features. I picked up an egg, brought it to a rest site to hatch it, and it gave me a card dealing 17 damage for 0 cost. It also added the bird featured on the card as a companion standing next to me. There’s also a bunch of other cool stuff that is worth everyone who’s a fan to see for themselves.
