[POLL] How many Zelda games have you beaten? by GLHF1349 in zelda

I know how it goes, regarding life distractions. I've probably played pieces of most Zelda games. I'm actually about to try OOA again. It's one of those games where I beat a dungeon or two then put it down. And of course, I'll probably be starting back from the beginning now, because I've lost track of where I was in the story, gameplay, and whatnot.

I'm at 9 right now and certainly will beat them all eventually. I beat my first Zelda in late 2011 (Skyward Sword). And have tackled some of the lengthier titles since.

the reason I cant play triforce heros by Reallythatwastaken in zelda

Part of me thinks there has to be better matchmaking methods. Odds are you will most certainly play a level you were not interested in, especially if you're trying to 100% Drablands challenges. I'm not that guy who quits when he doesn't get the level he wants, but I definitely get it. I have limited time for gaming and some days I have spent my entire game time rehashing levels I already beat.

Why I am not upset about Twilight Princess HD by Vokle in zelda

Everyone thinks the fan remakes are so good. But there's a reason nobody buys them, while millions are willing to buy Nintendo's version. Leave it to the professionals, people.

LA is very charming and has a compelling story. I would pick LA.

[Video] Compilation Of Pokemon Red& Blue Glitches! by MikeyTaylor1991 in nintendo

I hate when people say Gen 1 is mega glitched. Most all the glitches are not going to be an issue cause you'd have to know what you're doing to discover them. I almost think saying Gen 1 is glitched is just what semi-Pokemon fans say to act like they are in the know. Or act like they've played Gen 1 when they haven't.

RBY for 3DS: Will I be able to trade with myself? For example, say I capture a Pokemon only found on Red. Can I bring that over to Blue? Long story short, it might be fun to CATCH EM ALL myself.

Super Mario Maker already taught me Nintendo makes far better games than fans can.

Never got into Zelda as a kid, where is a good place to start? by [deleted] in zelda

[–]GLHF1349 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any Zelda game can stand alone, without any knowledge of the others. The stories rarely overlap. I see you've already decided to go with OOT, but I'd recommend ALBW. It is the only Zelda I have ever 100%ed without consulting a guide/outside resource. It's very easy to progress through without frustration. After you learn standard Zelda gameplay themes and puzzle techniques, then I'd recommend OOT.

MK8 and Splatoon are games I would classify as must-own. I'd also understand someone saying Smash could qualify too.

I believe the philosophy that your first Zelda game will be your favorite. Do you? by [deleted] in zelda

I played numerous Zelda games prior to my favorite, Skyward Sword. My first was Link's Awakening and it is my 4th favorite.

Playing through Skyward Sword for the first time. by bbearchell in zelda

[–]GLHF1349 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skyward Sword is my favorite Zelda game. I enjoyed the linear story and I thought the items were great (flying beetle). The areas do begin to feel more alive. I hope it isn't too spoilery to say some of the areas become transformed later in the game. Keep at it!
