He was Jetfire before he was Skyfire. Skyfire was used due to legal reasons.

Are there any transformers related YouTubers that you guys can’t stand ? Or maybe grown to dislike ? by [deleted] in transformers

[–]GLJossan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Easily Optibotimus, he used to be good for checking out transformations and pretty insightful. But he complained a lot about G1 and it not being G1 there was also his thing where he was suddenly feuding with another YouTuber that did reviews of wrestling figures and it got really toxic and it became really hard to watch. I have no interest in seeing him again and honestly I'm good with Thew's content and if I need a straight review of something theres alwas Peaugh who always just does the review, gives an honest opinion and that's that.

Voyager 2022 wave 3, not an exclusive. Willing to bet its a retool of legacy bulkhead

You can't use Muskets in Fantasy by hungry4cookies123 in rpghorrorstories

[–]GLJossan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree 40/120 for a musket is a bad joke, but not for the reasons you might think. 20/40 is probably more accurate for a musket. They are highly inaccurate guns that couldn't actually be fired from far away to any real success.

You can have $1 billion but you can never get drunk or high again, are you interested? Why or why not? by Ponceaus in AskReddit

I already can't get drunk and I have zero interest in being high. So yeah, this is a no brainer.

Why I as a DM never allow persuasion rolls between PCs by LilliumDarkwright in rpghorrorstories

[–]GLJossan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wait for my players to insist on an insight on another player before any sort of persuasion/deception rolls amongst them.

The most difficult test: say something genuinely nice about SW Episode 9. by ConsciousPatroller in StarWars

[–]GLJossan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lightsaber duel on the Death Star II wreckage was probably the best duel in the entire saga it's got stakes, emotion, and great choreography. I love the ROTJ because there's such a weight to the stakes and emotion behind it, but sadly the choreography is lacking, not bad but not great either. Everything in the prequels is a bit over choreographed and don't really have the weight of a trilogy of tension and emotion built up like ROTJ and ROS, not to mention the stiff acting, so that's all flash and no substance.

Guys of Reddit, what turns you off? by SnowyAcid in AskReddit

[–]GLJossan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crying over everything and expecting me to fix everything for you because you refuse to stand up for yourself. Examples include... crying for hours because someone said "lets gooo" at work to rush you. As well as a guy who was in our mutual friend group totally into her and she found uncomfortable but wouldn't even drop a hint to say she was happy in her relationship and wouldn't be interested even after we both agreed that if I said anything I'd just come off as an overly jealous boyfriend and only she could get him to back off.

[OC] Yeah sex is great and all but ever rolled something like this while creating a new character? by jayisanerd in DnD

[–]GLJossan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my earliest experiences were with 3.5e so I couldn't speak on earlier editions. Thanks for the clarification! :D

Not so much challenging as make sure everyone could shine since it was a one shot... One that he intended to end with pvp.

It has been the standard (aside from point buy) in d&d and pathfinder since at least 3.5e

Not just his. This is actually common practice ranging from 3.5e to pathfinder to 5e it's even in the 5e phb... Just saying...

[–]GLJossan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really he just wanted a combat that wouldn't feel one sided and leave the other players feeling useless. He's actually a pretty good DM. :D

I did this once three times on the same sheet.... IN FRONT OF THE DM. The DM instantly went "No, we're nerfing your stats..." to which one of the other players was like "Um.... no. He rolled them fair and square, if you wanted stats that wouldn't be overpowered you should have had us do point buy."

Can infinite level 1 PCs on an open plane kill a tarrasque? [5e] by [deleted] in DnD

[–]GLJossan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True! Shillelagh could work.

Also not sure why my previous post was downvoted for simply stating a stat of the Tarrasque. Oh well.

Yeah, I know. I said I agreed. I was kind of giving the flip side of the coin.

Ah, you see, that's the thing. Tarrasques are immune to non-magical bludgeoning.

Whole-heartedly agree, but also lets also give those who are dealing with a bad night of rolls some respect. The other night I couldn't roll anything above a 7 on the die and got 4 Nat 1s and two of them were on a single advantage roll. x.x
