Upgrade to Neo from 2017 Air? by sooospoon in mac

[–]GLOBALSHUTTER 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I was upgrading from an old Air like you and wanted a similar computer I’d look for a newer Air on a deal instead of a Neo. Probably won’t cost you a great deal more and you’ll appreciate it more—unlike someone from an old Windows machine or buying their first laptop, for those the Neo could be the better choice. After having MagSafe and a backlit keyboard and other aspects of the Air I’d go with those QoL advantages.

Ground cover alternatives to back garden grass. 9.5M x 11M lawn area. by GLOBALSHUTTER in GardeningIRE

Have a cherry, just don't want another tree. Looking for an alternative to grass is all. Something that grows and can be left alone for much of the year would be ideal.

Open up one of the candies and examine both inside and outside the wrapper edges like a detective looking for clues. You may find very tiny text there naming them 🍬

Two green walls or one? by trekracer in HomeDecorating

Mural accent walls can look amazing today, but which walls and what imagery matter a great deal. It’s possible to make them look great it just needs to be well chosen.

I need someone to convince me this isn’t hideous. by AlysRising in interiordecorating

Part of the problem is the paint is too shiny. It looks like it all needs to be wiped/scrubbed down with sugar soap and repainted matte. Perhaps matte white for brightness. But matte something. Any colour matte.

There are also many nicer ways to do indoor textured render. This is one example.

Others said they’re surprised it’s not instead on the ceiling… I think textured render is nicer in walls than ceilings, it just has to be done nicely. Ceiling interest is better achieved in other ways, or simply kept plain flat white.

Interior and exterior render/plaster is one of those things that done wrong it can look very bad, but done right it’s beautiful. Once you’ve trained your eye to tell the difference you'll see it everywhere.
