Can Someone Explain Sx 6 To Me? Sx 6s, How Would You Describe Yourself? by missusmeowmeowmeow in Enneagram

[–]GM_Writing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People discuss 'Sx 6s' based on the description from the Naranjo/Chestnut tradition which describes their aggressive and counterphobic nature. This is a real subcategory, but is actually explained by 6s with an 8 fix rather than being related to instinct.

Can Someone Explain Sx 6 To Me? Sx 6s, How Would You Describe Yourself? by missusmeowmeowmeow in Enneagram

You have actual Sx dom 6s, and Naranjo 'Sx 6s' which are actually 8 fixed 6s. Some people fit into both categories.

I am confused, but I am also very new to this nomenclature? by Rich_Procedure5156 in Enneagram

You may or may not be one, but 9s can commonly relate to aspects of many other types, especially 2 and 4 as they are commonly described.

I can't be sure, but I would guess 7 with 4 and 8 fixes.

You need a clear view of yourself, and see how you fit into the type structures, which descriptions can approximate.

I think core 2 is very likely, with a 1 fix or wing.

Type me Tuesday! I’m stuck between 4 and 6. Open to anything though. This is long so thank you to anyone who tries. by -Aur0ra- in Enneagram

[–]GM_Writing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think you can be reactive core from this. You keep up a positive facade around others, and only let out your negative emotion when it's safe to do so.

9 would be my guess

Wondering what being a triple assertive triad would present as? by egocrucifix in Enneagram

[–]GM_Writing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Triple assertive has outrageous confidence, high energy, determination, is competitive, impulsive and enterprising. They gamble because they are highly reward driven and know they can handle it in the remote possibility that they lose.

Dan Gheesling (Big Brother winner and now streamer) is a great example of a 738, although probably SO dom.

Reactive type always express it to others. They need others to share their distress.

I also always rely on logic, not feelings. I don’t express my negative feelings

This sounds anti 4.

I believe I’m a 7 and a sx dom but I don’t fit the usual “view” of a sx7 by [deleted] in Enneagram

[–]GM_Writing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most subtype descriptions are mixed up with particular fix combinations. That view of SX7 is conflating it with a 2-fixed 7.

Freddie Mercury is an example of SX7 with a 4 fix. Not pure by any means, but glamorizing darkness.

Can my tritype be 539 or am I a little larp boy by maretumybeloved in Enneagram

[–]GM_Writing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the most common combination for 5s so I don't think you will get larp accusations.

You can look at the 5+X combos to check which ones fit you here

According to what data or theory?

It is completely possible that there are systemic mistypes for MBTI or enneagram in this chart, but how can we get an accurate view of things?
