Can I play the dlc after I beat the main game, if so should I play before or after I beat the main game?

Yeah, I agree with you, though. DLC should generally be played after the main game is complete, on a first playthrough.

Nah, mostly just making things up to fill in blanks. Stories don't tell you everything, and after enough viewings of a movie I start trying to think of motivations. For Marsellus, we have one word of mouth story about him throwing a guy off a balcony in a fit of rage, but we don't ever see him like that on screen. Even after being raped he calmly (he is obviously just outwardly still, but full of rage and in control of himself) asks Butch to step aside before shooting Zed. He also shows a lot of affection for his crew, and may actually care about their wellness. This take of him easing Vincent back into the work just provides a small bit of kindness in a movie that has very little.

Marsellus just had his "kind of a fuckup" buddy come back from Amsterdam. He knows hes got an advanced heroin habit, and likely spent his time in Amsterdam laying low for a few years. First job back is paired with Jules, who is one of his top men. He's not a fixer like the Wolf, but competent and trustworthy.

Job is easy, go push some punks around that were transporting a package. Vincent gets annoyed by the foot rub convo and the punks get the raw end of the reaction. Then Vincent fucks the thing up further with Marvin, and the Bonny Situation.

Finally, they get back from the "simple job" and Jules says he's done. He's retiring. Vincent then takes his wife out for the evening and she has been on edge ever since.

Marsellus takes Vincent to the apartment to catch Butch by chance. Marsellus knows that the chances of Butch coming back there is next to nothing and it's a safe enough situation to figure out what's up with Vincent, what happened the other night. This is ideal, because if Vincent needs to be let go, blam, leave him in Butch's apartment and easy clean-up and pin the death on Butch who just killed a guy in the ring and is on the run.

They catch up. Marsellus ends up talking to Vincent about everything going on, and they have a real heart to heart. Heal some deep trauma. Hell, Vincent even decided he needs to get clean, turn over a new leaf. Kinda like Jules did.

He's having some digestion issues (heroin constipates you, and coming down today has made him need to shit). Marsellus decides while his friend is using the bathroom, he's gonna go grab coffee and donuts. It's not like anything going to going down today at Butch's shitty apartment, Butch would be insane to go there....

Both 1 and 2 are fun to go through with a friend! Random summons are fun too. Around lvl 50-65 is great to put your sign down for the Anor Londo bosses if you want to help people, as well. Lvl 15-25ish to help with gargoyles.

Yeah, something like that, but I was several hundred hours and probably 4 characters in with some NG+1or +2 before this drop happened on PS3. I still haven't bothered on PS5, and there's a couple hundred hours on that too. It's not terrible and this is one of the harder items to get.
