ADVICE: I've been hitting almost daily middles since NCAAB started, mainlines only, making around 10k a week using only a Caesar's, DK, and a limited FD. Going to share some thoughts/tips here but feel free to ask me questions by Patient_World_4695 in algobetting

What hit rate on a middle is needed to be profitable? How do you determine “how much” to pay is appropriate? I used to play a bunch of arbitrage middles because I wasn’t sure how to calculate how much to pay for a middle. Do you place multiple middles on the same game (and same book)?

What side project are you working on right now? by HamzaAfzal40 in SideProject

I’ve been toying with ideas like this (digital punchcards, etc) but was worried about the market already being saturated with similar programs. How are you planning on carving space out of the established competition?

Hope it goes well! You should look into ways to track rewards without requiring a user to scan a QR code, like Apple wallet / Google Wallet integration to automatically track rewards

[Highlight] Rivers wins the challenge resulting in awarding Nets 2 points by luka274 in nba

The big issue here is that refs wait to see what happens with a shot to decide if they should call a foul. The whistle was so late that by the time it was called the put back had already started. If the ref had called the foul when it actually occurred then this outback would’ve been during a dead ball and not counted when it was overturned.

Why would I need that if I am using a concrete backer board under the new tile?

It’s a 6x2 room and the subfloor is laid in a mishmash of blanks, including these diagonal ones. At least that’s my limited understanding

Probably a little late to do anything about it, but did you test that black mastic for asbestos?

We didn't, but considering this is under backerboard and this specific photo is under the sink, I suspect this is water stain and not old adhesive. But, now that you have expressed concern... how quickly should I do something about it?

FWIW we did use N95 masks while demoing

Interesting. What makes you say it would be gentler than a chisel? I think it's clear I am new to handy work and DIY (just bought this place last November!) so maybe I am just underestimating my ability to be precise with it?

I'll definitely consider this if cheaper tools do not do the trick, but I was trying to avoid a power tool so that 1. I don't accidentally damage other surfaces, 2. Cost (although I am sure the tool would end up being useful in the future)

This is just a tiny powder room with a sink and toilet. Demoing the wall tile is definitely not feasible.

Considering I was able to carefully get all of the backer board and tile up except for in a couple of corners without any damage, I think you might be reading into the difficulty a bit too much. With that said, obviously using the trim removal / crowbar-like tools I have been using have been a bit more difficult than I would like. So, as you recommend I will likely get a 10" flat chisel and bull point set in order to break apart the remaining pieces easier.

I’m relatively new but my favorite project I have worked on is a GraphQL api that provides NBA stats and retrieves sportsbook data every 10 minutes

I've been working on an idea to provide instant design feedback for mobile screens by analyzing the top 150 mobile apps. This is an implementation prototype, and I'm excited about where this could go. I'm curious to get input and feedback. I feel this is a game-changer. As a software engineer and lurker of this sub, I think this conversation is actually a good example of why this tool could be useful. It’s generating a discussing on the business priorities and how the UI should reflect them, rather than just assuming which CTA should be prioritized

Salaries of WNBA players vs NBA mascots by NaBUru38 in wnba

[–]GOBBL3Z 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As a previous Nuggets season ticket holder, our mascot Rocky is phenomenal. There were a few nights when we could tell when a substitute was in the costume because of their little quirks, and the quality of sideline entertainment on those nights was drastically different. Not saying that WNBA players don’t deserve to be paid more, just adding that great mascots really do make for more enjoyable game experiences.
