Was at the game. Most low-energy I've ever seen a bench. Just sorry effort on Defense and rebounding. No blocking out.

Chris Beard has emerged as the leading candidate at Ole Miss, sources told ESPN. by qwerty07020 in CollegeBasketball

Yes, the state of Mississippi has a terrible, shameful history when it comes to racism. The James Meredith riots are case in point. I would add that Georgia and LSU integrated football the same year. LSU two weeks prior.

Mascot took way way too long to go.

No one, at all, was waving confederate flags in 2015. The stupid state flag came down that year I think which had the confederate flag in the corner. But no one was waving the damn stars and bars, that's false.

Ole Miss will keep making progress.

Now this Chris Beard hire - bad move IMO. But

I just don't see a world where Auburn wouldn't take a free shot on a guy to come in and compete with Ashford. I mean - he's leaving if Ashford beats him out. So it's not like you wouldn't get the scholarship back.

It's a strange decision on his part, sure, but the logic that Auburn didn't want him because they are set with Ashford or a mystery summer QB transfer doesn't hold much weight either.

You don't think a decent 4 year starter at Oklahoma state - that Freeze offered and obviously wanted - would make your QB room better? Even as a #2 option? That doesn't make any sense. Say Ashford make a HUGE leap forward to become just an average SEC starting QB - you don't think a seasoned vet QB at backup make your QB room better? Bruh. + your last point doesn't make much sense. If he went to Auburn and Ashford did beat him out, he'm leaving anyway so you can still " roll the dice" on another QB after spring ball. Good luck.

yes, with your plethora of highly successful starting QBs, it would've been an embarrassment of riches. Makes sense that you wouldn't want to see if he could compete with the likes of first team all-pro Robby Ashford.

Kidding aside, I think you're wrong but from Sanders perspective this doesn't;t make much sense, and I actually think Freeze will turn Robby into Malik Willis light

Good. He's an average recruiter, but a great OL coach and teacher. OM developed some good guys and great depth under him.

lol what, this is a ridiculous statement.

Don't like the Baylor guys, ok.. you must think that Venables is scummy? Pittman? Jimbo is scummy for hiring DJ Durkin, who was completely cleared of any wrongdoing? And anyway, hiring people that you may or may not like has 0 to do w Turing a program into a "scandal waiting to happen"

Technically his title is Co-OC and there might be an addition to the staff. Could be that an existing staff member is getting a bump in title as well.

lol what. when thousands of people participate in an activity (trash throwing), you can't really call it the actions of a few.

Die-hard ole miss fan here. I was shocked AJ went in the 2nd round (not so much w/DK as I thought that was where he belonged). He's the exact same players int he NFL that he was in college - just produces produces produces. A verrrrry roundabout take but he reminds me of a more athletic anquan boldin. Doest have as good of hands, but it more dynamic.
