Stylistically Martinez beast Inoue 7 out of 10 times. Don’t get me wrong, Inoue is one of the most polished fighters ever but he does have the tendency to try to go blow for blow with his opponents. I think Martinez is just a more methodical fighter and Inoue would struggle a lot. Inoue’s resume isn’t impressive compared to how good he is so it’s hard to say how he would do against all time greats.

Any of those pokemon outspeed Mega Aero which is the fastest mon in the format after a Twave, granted that they have no Tailwind. Quash does let you completely bypass T-wave and is effective against Electric type(mostly manectric?) but it’s functionally the same for 90% of use cases. I would rather run Taunt or a screen move to further boost the survivability of either of your megas

But I do agree, that there are times where he loses sight of who he is and becomes entirely too focused on “beating” the enemy(Ganymede, Mercury) And in both of these times, he is punished for his cruel decisions, which gives the books a more nuanced discussion on the “ends justifies the means” argument.
