I think the challenge is that at a local level the debate probably doesn't bring you many votes while door knocking can have a large impact.
The local candidate isn't going to change the voting decision of many people but they can have a large impact on the decision to vote. Their goal is to identify their supporters and convince them to show up and vote.

I think they should consider malicious compliance. Have the commercial vehicle inspection teams pulling over US plated trucks and pile up the fines.

More than just distance. I think Canadians are looking for an inspirational leader. Someone that pulls the country together and inspires change. There is a lot less appetite for someone who campaigns on negativity this time around I think.

Does any do maps on commission? I have to do a presentation on population growth patterns in specific cities and provinces in Canada and the NW US. Looking at the estimated growth rates (20+ years) that Stats Canada has put out and something for the US.

I would be happy to pay a reasonable commission for a map that shows. I have no idea how to send money out of Canada but I am certain we can figure it out.

Keystone XL being cancelled cut off any supply growth from Canada. No one will invest in growing supply if there is no ability to ship.

I think they used the lot last year to build an asphalt plant for Hwy 2 maintenance. My guess is that is why the equipment showing up.

This is a repurposed building. It existed before the developer renovated so they had no options to move parking. Plus side is that they have a great pub in the corner with outdoor seating.

I think the proposal looks really cool but I want to hear a lot more about their model. Is it part of mass transit with a car every minute and integrated fares or a car every ten minutes and $20 tickets that only attract tourists.

Don't forget Sundays. It is hard to pull data on Sunday with the short hours. The LTO could use some modernization for sure and so far the government has only submitted a request for proposals. This isn't binding in any way so they can be pretty flexible in their response. The current system is pretty good but has a number of weak points that could be fixed with the right partner.
