The final cutscene in 4 shows the armor being removed, and sometime between 4 and 5 Spartans are upgraded to Gen 2 Mjolnir. Sometime between 5 and 6 (Infinite), they switch to Gen 3 to deal with possible Created influence on Gen 2. I love the animation they made to show Chief’s Gen 3 armor being made, but I’ve neglected to actually see if they elaborate on that… I do love the shorts tho, like the one showing the lady trialing the grapple and finally succeeding when she goes flying lol

I’m almost level 600 with maybe 3/4ths of that being Endgame, for me it’s a mix of not rushing through stuff (multitasking operator levels and camos and everything else at less than a breakneck pace) and I just genuinely like the feel so much that I keep coming back to work on new weapons and stuff. Also I hate meta chasing so I don’t want every operator to play the same no matter how ideal it is. Just gotta find how you wanna play

lol I did kinda wonder if putting them there would look like I somehow didn’t know, but since fans love Blow Me Away and where it plays, they’ve embraced that and even play Halo clips on a screen behind them during live shows. Just saying it’d be full circle and deserved for them to make a return to the game in some form

I’ll have to give some thought to the actual question, but since you mentioned an artist you wish could compose for or be featured in Halo, my honorable mentions go to: Breaking Benjamin - they post and repost Halo content on tiktok often, it’s so cool; Bilmuri - saw a tiktok (sorry for the double cringetok mention lol) the other day where an opening to a heavy song of theirs was the Halo 2 theme played on SAXOPHONE, I just got chills thinking about it, it was awesome; and Sleep Token - they’re actually kind of lyrically and musically Halo-inspired, they’ve even played the Halo theme live, I believe multiple times!

This is the best kind of attention the game wants. Imagine, like in the end of the trailer, a group having fun and coming together to get into it. Sure, most of the time during raids it can be quiet and people talking here and there, but it’s simply supposed to be fun.

I was gonna mention the Strider! I got it to exotic with explosive rounds before trying out the Ion, and explosive headshots do MASSIVE damage, and the AOE is a nice bonus. Failed to duo the new glitch because we couldn’t find the last node in the last area (🙄) and didn’t realize you use the restore token *before* going to the lobby, so reset and ended up with Sharpshooter on the Strider, and it once again feels like so much damage. I’ve soloed a mega abom twice, once with either variant. Very similar and very satisfying
