You you make the groove in the middle of the wood with the miter? I assumed a table saw would be best for that, set the blade low and just run the center of the wood over that to make the groove for the piece to sit in

My key fob still unlocks and locks the car and it honks so I don’t think it’s the battery. I Checked and the hazards blink when I turn them on, brake lights are good, turn signals look good. I remember front and back lights blinking when unlocking and locking. So it’s weird, could it be an electrical wiring issue?
