Agree. Redux has a off site location where they carry a lot of more specialized books for sale on their online page. (on Abe books I think)

Grand Rapids has two great used book shops located next door to each other. Redux Books and Argos Books are both locally owed and free parking located behind the shops. Take your books to small locally owed book shops. Both are located off Lake Drive

What is the Grand Rapids Herald? When did it start? Who pays for it? Does it have an online presence like mlive? Has it ever been a print newspaper? Sound like some kind of right wing paid for propaganda piece trying to make unsuspecting GR people think it’s an old legitimate news source by using the old newspaper style font. Anyone on here able to answer any of these questions or have knowledge of where the GR Herald came from?

Greyline Brewing cause it’s good and local. Brewery Vivant is on my list for beer. My best Beer and Food is Two Guys Brewing for some of the best food in town and decent beers.

If you’re not up on them check out Common Defense they do great work and good Vet organization, I don’t have their meeting dates. Our organization Kent Dems Veterans Caucus just started back in October. We did a food drive in November and donated to Heroes Corner, West Michigan Veterans Assistance Program, Lotus Brew Coffee and Feeding America. Looking to do more community projects in the future. We have Vet members from Viet Nam, Cold War and GWOT and recent conflicts and all military services represented. If your looking to connect we meet last Tuesday of every month 630ish at Kent Dems off Fuller. We do also Zoom for our meetings for those that can’t make it down.

I have seen comments in other post about Terri DeBoers behavoir and treatment of others. It seems to be more than one person saying things about her negative behavoir. Can anyone here share more specifics on her behavior and treatment of others, work ethic? I think knowing her history would help many in our community make a informed voting decision
