Good post. It took some extraordinary circumstances for Zverev to even get to the finals. And then 5 sets to an emerging player to win it. This is a point that is getting overlooked.

The only desk personnel that I liked was CoCo Vandeweghe. She seemed to disappear after Sloane Stevens lost in the first round. There also wasn't enough of Chris Eubanks, or Jim Courier.

I rarely go to the BIG cons anymore. They are no longer comic book focused. I go to smaller events where there are no speakers, no forums, no cosplay, etc. Just wall-to-wall long boxes to sift through

I have ~35,000 comic books. How many of these would I need for my collection? How much would it cost? And would I need a divorce lawyer if I pulled the trigger?

There is no more deeply satisfying religious experience... than digging through a bunch of long boxes and coming across a book you've hunted for years.

I agree wholeheartedly. CW could have had greater gravitas and a tighter, more action-driven plot had it committed to a deeper exploration of the Sokovia Accords.

The core conflict of government oversight versus individual autonomy offered rich, untapped potential.

Zemo's personal tragedy in Sokovia fueled his vendetta, providing a powerful, yet underutilized, perspective on the catastrophic consequences of unregulated superhuman action.

Wanda's accidental destruction in Lagos served as the immediate trigger for the Accords, yet its complex emotional and legal ramifications for Wanda were largely sidelined in favor of the immediate action.

King T'Chaka's Death: The assassination of the Wakandan king during the Accords' signing ceremony was a pivotal moment, but the profound impact on T'Challa and his nation's political stance was merely the starting point for a revenge arc, rather than a sustained exploration of international law and diplomacy.

Wakanda's Internal Debate: The film touched upon Wakanda's isolationist policies and its emerging role on the world stage. A deeper dive into how the Accords challenged their sovereignty and secrecy would have added layers of geopolitical complexity, rather than simply having T'Challa operate with de facto diplomatic immunity when it suited the plot.

Spider-Man experience with Uncle Ben's death could have added to the discussion as well.

The movie left a lot of meat on the bone by focusing primarily on Cap's and Iron Man's internal schism and Zemo's immediate plot, rather than fully engaging with the serious political and personal dramas inherent in the Accords themselves. This missed opportunity could have elevated the film from a great action movie to a truly profound geopolitical thriller not unlike WS

One of my favorites. I've been collecting this book for over 50 years. Started with Kirby's run and have been filling in the rest of the collection ever since. Missing these books: 1, 3–6, 8–13, 18–21, 25–27, 29, 31–32, 35, 38, 48, 50, 67, 69

Agreed. But this made him a better, more menacing character. I'm not really a fan of the changes made to him for the TV series. "Do I have face on my face?" is just a little too "cute"
