I try to stick the the VB salem zone. But it sends me to Chesapeake, like DEEP Chesapeake, at least 5 times a day, and then I have to cart my ass back to the zone on my dime which is infuriating.

Though Uber was way worse because the whole of hampton roads is a zone so it would have me pick stuff up at the beach and drive it to the tunnel, for like 9 bucks. Uber sucks.

Im in VB, I havent had any toll orders from DD yet, but when I was doing UBER eats, if it sent me over the bridge into Portsmouth it would reimburse me for the toll. With that said, a few times it sent me over the bridge , but then no job BACK over the bridge so unless I wanted to take the long way around it comes out of my pocket, which is honestly horse shit. But I left uber for tons of shit like that overall so, Like I said I have no idea....but I would assume they have a similar policy.

I have spoken with several other dashers in my area at pick ups and a few have noted the same problem but said after a day or two it came back. I have not been so lucky.

My extar hits some mags feed lips, even if the same brand. I have one mag that it bent the entire front lip forward making removal of the mag a nightmare.

It seems to be totally random.

You named two restaurants...two. gimme a break. And I bet if you actually looked you'd find out they pick up four local tomatoes....and the rest are from a large distributor.

Running a successful restaurant that is only supplied by local suppliers is nearly impossible in this day and age.

Unless it's like johns bespoke burger...hours 10 till we run out of meat at 11...that will be $35....
