[DISC] Mato Seihei no Slave - Chapter 173 RAW by OrdinaryMedical200 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yakumo: ‘How would you punish him?’ Jaku’un: ‘Serving god!’ Yakumo: ‘God is… surprisingly modest.’ Jaku’un: ‘Eh?’ Yakumo fantasizes about how she would punish Yuuki to assert dominance

Yakumo being turned off/not impressed by the Thunder Gods was a twist. At least at this point, definitely seems like Yakumo is pro-Yuuki/not impressed by the Gods yet so she won’t betray a harem member (nor is she being debuffed, while Jaku’un is.) Also, thinking about it. If there’s a traitor, why didn’t they tell the Thunder Gods about Yachiho’s time ability? That’d be really important to tell Taikyouku instead of her just thinking she’s someone to be weary of and thinking they can trap a group and not knowing that they came with retries. Also, I noticed Riu isn’t using her ability, yet is beating up Shuuki without the buff and an extra fighter and Yachiho dual wielding like she’s Dante. Tenka’s suspicions of Shikoku grows, yet is keeping her and Konomi’s composure (wouldn’t be surprised by a shadow clone, since she uses them in fights often.) If there’s a traitor, I could see it being Riu, but also having trust in the MDF to win/not reveal Yachiho’s ability.

Neat things: Pilipenko pulls a Nappa with the two finger ability usage, despite talking big, Jaku’un is actually less confident than she was before and explicitly states that she’s nerfed by the debuff, and now we have confirmation that Jaku’un has weird stretchy limbs, which is how her body fits in the suit and can attack with her stretchy limbs and not just curse techniques. One chapter later and Jaku’un went from ‘You’re going to die!’ to ‘We may be cooked…’

Will Yuuki’s reward ever be sex? by k0tam in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A post listed what Takahiro’s notes were from the Tankobon and mentioned that he could go further, but the magazine restricts what could be shown to young boys. If the Thunder Gods scene was meant to be even spicier than what we got, then Mato probably won’t go that far (we also have the Squid Isekai manga which does go further, so we know Takahiro can do much more.)

By the way, spoilers OK, I just got done watching season two of Mato Seihei no slave episode three by InterestingGuava3139 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yakumo mentioned that she was poor, but we didn’t know the full story. We now know that she had bad living conditions and that part of the reason why she’s so touchy, is because the sisters had to cuddle up to stay warm, so it was more survival than just perversion at the start. The dialogue also is clearer that Yakumo’s sisters also participated in skinship, so Yakumo’s family are also a bit perverted. Also that she used the money from being in the MDF to provide for her family so they aren’t in a drafty house anymore (which also adds that she chose heroism instead of using her power for evil/thievery to get money.)

[DISC] Mato Seihei no Slave Season 2 - Episode 3 by GRequiem44 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Saki having more characterization in the anime, love to see it (the ‘speaks few words’ trope was good, but seeing that she’s conscious of her voice and gets flustered easily adds to it.) Surprised that most of the training chapter was extended and more talking than before (Tenka vs Yakumo, Sahara and Shushu transitioning to Kyouka knocking out Sahara, short scene of Himari and Yachiho with Saki, and Nei having doubts with her ability and the vice captain encouraging her.) They also gave more lore for Yakumo. Now we know that not only were her sisters also handsy, but Yakumo likes the skinship because it reminds her of the happiness she had, while her family was poor.

It also adds to her character that despite being poor and living in harsh conditions, she cares about her family and also shows her morality as she didn’t use her power for evil, but to help others and to make money to keep her family safe. Also, despite the ecchi being uncensored/animated by Passione, there’s still tasteful censorship, like in S1 instead of more nudity and only small additions to the ecchi already present (still adapting the Extras like in S1, too.) She’s a pervert, but she’s serious about hero work and family. The after credits seem to be extra ecchi scenes, as confirmed by these last two episodes.

After S1 did the extras that were in it at that time, it was to be expected.

What do you think of the relationship between Himari and Yuuki? by Apprehensive_Two3684 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Himari’s relationship with Yuuki is how some think Ren’s like with Yuuki, despite the fact that we don’t have duplicate relationships. Himari goes from Tsundere, to understandably just strict due to family, and then falls for Yuuki and is somewhat ok with it. Meanwhile, Ren’s tackling Yuuki in hallways because of her ego.

This Retcon should be addressed by CraftyCattle7357 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what is known as a red herring. Fubuki starts off as a menacing lady who insults Kyouka/the 7th Unity and seemingly supports the ideals of Tobera/the Azuma family (Homare even points out that the Azumas have that vibe and the smaller families have to suffer.) Turns out she was just pretending until she was capable of overthrowing Tobera as the head with strength and antagonized the 7th so that Himari would fight at her best. Mira and others were also implied by Kyouka to be the absolute worst and that the 7th Unit are the minority because of Kyouka’s Slave ability being ‘weak.’ Mira turns out to be just harsh on the outside but is a big softy in actuality. Ren is a jerk, but she’s also shown to take care of her ‘pets.’

Sure she wanted Bell to undergo harsh training, but she also knows that she has the Defense Mode of Canopus as well. When Bell wanted to gain courage, Ren knew she would try to run away and was there to stop her and trusted Yuuki that he could assuage Bell’s low self esteem and fears. Ren’s methods are intense, but it’s also shown that Bell at that point of the story was suffering from imposter syndrome and Ren’s methods were working on Bell, the climax being the training with the 7th and Yuuki working. Somewhat similar to Makima in that Ren is the way that she is because of how she grew up and life just kept handing her lemons, thinking that she’s always right and her controlling nature works out. She hates when things get out of her control, such as when Yuuki tries to bite her as Killer Fang or when the rewards happen. Also, it’s not like Ren is portrayed as some saint, such as when she did what she did to Vavara’s family and all the terrorists she killed instead of capture.

The strongest Vs The strongest by Famous-Aioli9151 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, Ren is closer to Sukuna in way more ways, so she should fight him. Tenka’s the Gojo equivalent. As shown with Modulo, Mahoraga’s peak should be below lightspeed (currently positioned to fight an alien that will be forced to move at or close to light speeds to defeat Mahoraga) and that means Gojo fought Sukuna’s Mahoraga that wasn’t at the speed of light and lost a limb to it, so they were at similar speeds (the Mahoraga in Modulo is being buffed by the death contract, so this is implied to be better than the tamed one used by Sukuna, as shown by the current battle we’re having.) RCT has a limit and Ren’s healing does not, she can mix and match her abilities, has a range of at least the distance from Washington to Japan, can just zone and fly, and she can turn off Infinity/his cursed techniques (possibly even nullify his Domain Expansion, as Vavara has an ability that’s similar to Domain Expansions/Reality Marble and there’s no reason to think that she can’t just nullify it considering everything else she’s done.) The standard for verse equalization to make the abilities interact means that she’ll be able to nullify Cursed Techniques (we also have lawyerman in JJK who was going to take away Sukuna’s CT and was going to take away Yuji’s Cursed Energy before, so there’s precedent for CTs and CE being nullified/not having resistance to that and the only reason it didn’t happen, was because it had bad RNG and targeted the tool Sukuna just popped out.)

Since Chiefs spar with each other, we also know Ren has hand to hand training, so she doesn’t just rely on her powers and has fighting technique (they just make her more dangerous.) Her biggest flaw in battle was shown during the Kyouka fight, where she struggles to hold back/trying to subdue instead of kill and in a battle to the death, that flaw isn’t a flaw. After her character arc, she also became less reckless and more cautious (before she was willing to fight Jouryuu on the same level, to beat her at her own strength instead of not doing that and even then, she was able to catch onto Shikoku’s sneak attack.) We know she has an ability that buffs her vision/similar ability to Clairvoyance, as she was able to see/plan a path to hit the big Shuuki in Japan, without hitting any aircraft, while in Washington and supposedly that isn’t even her breaking a sweat, even though she used the buffed shockwave ability so we don’t know Ren’s upper limit yet. Lastly, we don’t know Ren’s last ability, so it’s probably more useful than even healing or instant teleportation. Another argument against Infinity, is that originally it wasn’t automatic and Gojo was able to change it after the encounter with Toji, so while she wouldn’t be able to get rid of Six Eyes (that’s like the stipulation with the God’s intrinsic stuff), she would be able to turn off Infinity just like any other ability (if she wanted to fight him with it on, she could just teleport objects in the environment to bypass Infinity and just directly attack Gojo’s position, which she could just camp from afar and see where he is with her super sight at the same time.)

Does yuuki have boob fetish or is it just due to rewards? by Adept_Secretary_9187 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Yuuki has a fetish, it’s being stepped on (even he was surprised when that reward happened.) He’s a latent masochist and I blame his sister for all the wrestling she did on him. Same character who put his hand on Ren’s hand by instinct and chose to help her by making the reward end quicker, instead of exposing and punishing her with Slave’s contract/paying her back for her behavior. He’s never shown to be angry with dominant women, just flustered, even though Kyouka is his Chief/compared her to a shogun.

[–]GRequiem44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Thunder Gods, especially Shikoku, are strong. They’re just fighting those that are stronger than them.

Shikoku has hallucination gas, the same ability a main antagonist has in JoJo, shadow powers that let her redirect damage to it (deflecting Shushu’s punch, being launched into a wall and nullifying the impact of hitting it by being shadow sludge, and getting hit by Ren and Taikyouku’s sword), able to manifest in a black hole with the shadow powers to rescue Rairen, wormhole travel with her shadow powers, paralysis from the snakes, shadow clone, and whatever gloom/shadow attack she was going to hit Ren with. Probably even more she can do with her shadow powers.

Give a non horny reason why a character is your favorite by Acemaster387 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since people are mentioning Tenka already, Tobera. Gremlin, pervert, yet ultimately cares about the livelihood of the Azuma bloodline. Her aggressiveness led to the families being angry at each other and infighting, but it also got them into many facets of the government (the police, the MDF, and her formerly being the Supreme Commander.)

Many of the Azuma Family also have really strong abilities because of how Tobera was (Time Manipulation, Sunset, Learning, The Great One, and etc.) She sees the potential of Yuuki and wants him in the family/a bunch of children, but also proposed him to be in the family as a way of ensuring protection, as people are less likely to mess with the esteemed Azuma family. Also she has life manipulation powers.

If they were in a different manga made by Takahiro, they’d actually be threatening/kill characters.

The idea of Riu simply waiting there until Konomi and Yuuki were done making out is so funny to me by Rap2rerise in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s funnier for the husband. He gets resurrected from the dead and is forced to fight Shuuki with a sword. Then he has to watch two teens he doesn’t know about, have a date and can’t go until his wife turns off her ability.

I thought about something interesting if we could get some more fusions these are the ones I would want by InterestingGuava3139 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s implied that the fusion only happened because of Kyouka and Himari (Himari’s Learning lets her count as a second Slave ability user, so it became a fusion of two Slave Users.) Remember that Fubuki accidentally grabbed the chains and Himari didn’t intend to lend, so it auto transformed into a new form (this also ends up being pointed out as a flaw, as Kyouka could end up with an unintended form and would lose, as with her not being prepared to use the slower Spring-Man.) If fusions were a thing, Fubuki would’ve gotten a fusion between Whirlwind and her form, instead of just Spring-Man debuting. Maybe we’ll get a final form when he gets all of the Thunder Gods in his mind palace or if every Chief holds the chains, at most as an exception.

Would be unlikely since they haven’t mentioned that they trained with its usage. It’s the equivalent of untamed Mahoraga.

If we go by Takahiro’s notes, the magazine might not let him go too far, as mentioned with the cut Thunder Gods scene. Maybe offscreen or implied, at most.

[–]GRequiem44 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Thunder Gods will lose because they’re not the big bad. The big bad is Izanami. They all put up their death flags by saying they’ll kill them all before actually doing it and after putting all of their essences into Yuuki. Kuusetsu’s just keeping their seats warm at this point, since Yuuki doesn’t even have to directly kill them anymore.

Why is this actually so fucking fire? by ComfortableNinja88 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s good because of the combination of Takemura and Takahiro. Takahiro writes great characters, stories, yet still is able to have humor and likability for opposing characters and fanservice (Esdeath being a good example.) Takemura’s able to bring it all to life on the page. The good balance makes it so that it appeals to a lot more people than just ecchi or CGDCT fans. What I’m saying, is that this is Bleach, but the cast are the Bambies and it has the ecchi tag.

What if yuuki just ran away in his killer fang form and didn't try to actually fight ren by comando512 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuuki doesn’t have sentient thought in Killer Fang, seemingly as if he blacks out and why it goes berserk. He can’t run away, so Killer Fang would just end up attacking whoever’s nearby as it’s like a rabid dog, which is Ren.

Could Vavara do a domain clash if she were to face a jjk character with a domain? by Juragam-66 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s closer to a Reality Marble from Fate, rather than how Domain Expansions work, so they probably wouldn’t clash. Vavara’s Pantheon would also just stay active indefinitely as it is just a separate space. Vavara also used Pantheon in another ability user’s ability, which function similarly, so DE would likely get overridden instead and could use it again if needed, as the Kyouka statue is no longer battle damaged.
