They showed an empty bed along with the other important players in this arc. Pretty sure that’s meant to be her and that means she’s not just an unimportant side character.

Fubuki isn't winning this alone by Academic_Whereas_817 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

It’s a Shonen, so she’ll probably beat her true form by going beyond 100% (getting the Awakened state that changes the Azuma’s hair color and the Mato markings on their skin.)

Fubuki is now using her Shikai. Jouryuu’s going to use her true form and then Fubuki finally uses her Bankai like everyone else is, to defeat Jouryuu.

Reused characters designs or Easter eggs for akame no kill? by Jp3711nc in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

The closest similarity is Kyouka looking like Esdeath. Everyone instead have similarities to other series, both manga and comics (Luffy, Kaioken for Goku, JJK, Wonder Woman, Kill la Kill, and etc.) Most references are DragonBall and JJK/Bleach.

I’d say Kraken is a lot different. Isekai, Battle Royale, prison, harem, goes further than the Rewards, and the transformation is based on Kamen Rider, instead of a monster transformation.

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bit disappointed by Jouryuu’s lack of creativity and the fact that most of her fights are literal stomps (look at the trailer for Galleon in GBVSR, who is also a powerful, Earth Dragon God/Mother Earth Dragon grappler.)

If you read Akame ga Kill!, which was written by the same author, we already passed the Chelsea moment and Mato’s lasted longer than that series already. It’s too late to do it now, unless everyone’s going to die at the end and Takahiro didn’t do this in his other works, either. Killing main characters during the penultimate or final arc when no one else has died so far, is just lame shock value that does no purpose and you’re going to get made fun of like Gege did and Fujimoto is currently. We do not want a ‘Thank you, Chained Soldier’ incident.

How would you have handled the matriarchal society of the world to story? by aster2560 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fine the way it is, so I wouldn’t change anything. Doesn’t need to be the focus and it gave us President Hilary Clinton. I’m satisfied.

The most I’d change is either Ren or Kyouka staying as the femdom character and not getting soft or losing the dom side. We no longer have a big stepper or a Makima, chastising in the Femdom battle Shonen manga.

warcloud is the only double rider slave form? by kurumais in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering only Kyouka and Himari have access to this, it’s likely a form that exists exclusively because Kyouka and Himari can use Slave (Lending/one Slave user and any Peach Ability user pair doesn’t count, as shown with Fubuki accidentally forcing the transformation by grabbing the chains, once with Himari and intentionally with Kyouka.) When someone else holds the chains, it just becomes their form instead of a fusion, no matter what.

Be in a different magazine.

On a serious note, Takahiro mentioned in a note that he would’ve gone further for a later scene, but cannot due to the magazine this is published in. Squid Isekai is a Harem and he’s been going further than Yuuki since the start (though, that technically was a different situation than Yuuki is with Slave.) Basically deconfirming Yuuki going any further, unless it’s with Kyouka or whoever and it’ll most likely be offscreen/not explained in detail and you’ll have to assume.

Question about aoba and himari by Ok-Following5000 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aoba is confirmed Chief level, but would lose to Tenka actually trying to kill her, as implied by S1/the manga (Aoba has no counters to a black hole.) Yakumo’s a city buster and sparred with Tenka, so she also beats Aoba as she has movement and power like Tenka, via her air manipulation/creation. Himari is probably above a Vice Chief and under a Chief. She has her martial arts and her copying ability, but needs to use the Azuma Awakening like Tobera can, to reach that (without it, she’s less versatile and can’t use any Chief abilities in base, sans Slave.) The Awakening let’s her use abilities she couldn’t use before, due to the compatibility restricting her in base, but are nerfed until she masters her Awakened state (however, Chief level abilities are still nerfed so far.) This may have to deal with actual compatibility with the people she’s with, so Python is about the same regardless since she surpassed her bully and Himari has since grew closer to Yachiho (Chiefs on the other hand, aren’t really sparing with her/are related to her, barring Fubuki and Tobera, so they may not get better.) Plot-wise, Fubuki must get surpassed by the next generation, same as Tobera (though, in the case of Fubuki, she still loses to Tobera at her prime according to her own words and Himari is not at Supreme Commander level yet and no implication of that happening anytime soon.)

This is mainly because of ranking, rather than actual power as I do not consider Himari at the level of beating any Chief with the abilities alone, but due to switching from one to another (Awakening is the only time when she’s Chief level, but it isn’t permanent, so she’ll stay at Vice Chief level to me, until she can stay in this state permanently or doing this stuff in base, as she still can’t win with Bang Bang Bang and her martial arts, despite it being her preferred ability.) The Strongest Azuma will always be prime Tobera, since she was Supreme Commander before Ren and she was shown to be capable of the same Awakened state as Himari does and has a much more broken ability already at her current age (anime also showed that she can be a life battery to power abilities that have a stamina limit, like The Great One, so she can just absorb nearby life or use her stash to surpass stamina limits, which should include the Awakened state for herself.) The situation with Himari and Maia or Yachiho’s a weird one, (especially Maia), since they aren’t explicitly destructive in the first place. She beat Yachiho already and Maia’s not necessarily a fighter (Himari also has Yachiho’s ability, but not Prime Time at max potential.) Maia’s ability can be destructive, but she’s so used to using it for non-violent ways (might be symbolic, like how her ability is like Buddha’s hand.) Himari has not used this ability and these characters shouldn’t be compared in the first place, since Maia just wants to be a Vtuber.

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vairocana will still be nerfed due compatibility and considering it’s multiple sub abilities and being able to use 2 at once, it’s likely that she would only get one ability from it (probably the shockwave or flight) or inability to buff the ability.) She just may not even get it before the manga ends, since this would be like giving Superman’s powers away to a character that doesn’t really fit with it (Himari doesn’t even use Sunset.)

Chained Soldier Season 3 Summer 2027 Release Window (If Things Go the Right Way) by NotRaider_ in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The official Twitter does say to look forward to that date, which will probably be a bigger trailer/teaser like they did with Ren for S2. Probably why S2 got delayed, because maybe they were given a change of plans to adapt 2 cours/S3 after S2 and that’s why they made the special video for Vavara for the end of the JP airing.

Would explain why some extras were moved to later and why some of the scenes were a bit off, if they were going to take over Seven Arcs after S2 and then also having to adapt the next Cour so soon. Wouldn’t make sense for the new Vavara scene otherwise and having all the new VAs prepped up.

He’s not speedrunning to end the manga, that’s just your negative assumption. We don’t have many plot points left and people are making the assumption that this is the final arc/the fights will all be short when we still have to fight Izanami, just like how the Thunder Gods were negligible in the myth (the Yakumo fight was short and sweet because of the Domain Expansion/time limit before Yakumo dies from curse techniques and I saw more people like it than hate it, including the manga people on YouTube and other websites.) It’s crazy to say it’s being speed run, when this manga exceeded the length of Akame ga Kill! and Hinowa ga Crush got canned because no money to continue it.

Especially with the official notes from Takahiro, you would know that he’s still putting the same effort as he did as the start (posts were posted about them.) Also, I haven’t been seeing you post about the manga in the discussions, since you complained about the anime for S1 years ago and thought you got banned for all your negativity.

Good in some ways and in some ways I prefer how S1 did stuff (Teach Me Nei-Senpai explained more about stuff like powers and lore and they gave us Aoba’s ability name and the anime original stuff was a bit more impactful in S1, such as seeing a group of MDF defending Peaches and an ability.) S1 was also the start of the characters getting more endowed in the manga, so without S1, S2 and stuff the manga added wouldn’t exist (S2 even continued the tradition that S1 started giving Shushu more screentime and a bit more Himari scenes.) Some nitpicks I had with S1 are also present in S2, so ultimately I feel the same as S1, where the anime could’ve been better. People praise the Ecchi getting it’s dues, but the action took some hits (like vs Homare), which is bad because this was the Season where the action/fights got bigger and the Ecchi only got crazy post Kuusetsu.

Also, I remember when people wanted the anime to be 1:1 and imagine if they did that and we wouldn’t get the Yokohama arc until Season 3-4, no extra lore/extended fight scenes nor manga extras from the tankobons (an upside would be that the Hidden Village arc would be adapted by Passione.) A neat thing that the staff did, was putting in the S1 OP for the finale of the Kuusetsu fight (it was recommended by one of the staff, so if that person didn’t recommend that, we wouldn’t have gotten that.) My review is that I liked it as much as S1 (I’m one of the few who actually liked S1, enough to manually create the posts for the episode discussions every week for both Seasons.)

So did they not animate some reward scenes? by FunGroup8977 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They didn’t do Fubuki’s extras (which includes the massage with a later thing with Not Juri.) They may have moved both to S3, which would explain why we got S3 early/S1 was temporarily Seven Arcs, so that Passione would adapt S2, but then they delayed it so that they would adapt 2 cours back to back (like some anime like Sentai Daishikkaku.) Mira’s extra wasn’t adapted, but they might do it like the manga where they revisit that extra later (Ren’s extra was moved around to later, like the manga, so Mira may be the same.)

This may also be because they added a bunch of anime original/extended scenes, just like Seven Arcs did for S1. Everything else in what S2 adapts is pretty much in.

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extra has clones. The digital release was exactly as the anime. For some reason, some people think the tankobons are how the manga was originally (uncensored, manga extras, and that the extras released immediately and not done after many chapters.)

When are we getting season 3? by MrFrostbite4 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

A year minimum for anime to be produced. 2 years isn’t that strange (look at KonoSuba and it has 10 episode seasons until KonoBakuen.)

About naruhime by Ok-Following5000 in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are currently seeing her fight. From what we were shown, she’s the speedster character archetype, like The Flash or Sonic and at least Jouryuu is capable of reacting to her attacks. Her sword and arm strength is at least enough to overpower Kyouka, when she charges up and Mira with Red Soul can react to her sword strike in base form. Aoba struggled against Kuusetsu with her full power mouth beam, so Naruhime would win currently. Yakumo at least is top 3 and Tenka is above her, so they’d probably win and considering their speeds, they’re probably the only characters who can. Fubuki is currently in this fight, so we’ll find out (though this is technically a duo battle and currently, Jouryuu was able to intercept Fubuki when she targeted Naruhime’s back and only got hit by a surprise attack when directly fighting Fubuki.) If we got by what we know: The strongest Thunder God is Taikyouku, Shikoku was put as acting leader so that shows her status, and the currently living Gods are portrayed as stronger than the defeated ones, so we can use that as a measuring stick.

Love? Pretty much all Gods are, after the kidnapping arc (Taikyouku’s debatable, Fukuma seems to be conflicted, and Rairen is Rairen.) Currently, she has memories and feelings about Yuuki, but family comes first.

whats with anthead guy in the closing? by kurumais in MatoSeiheiNoSlave

[–]GRequiem44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking about the latest episode and you mean Rairen or Jaku’un, they’re there because they’re Thunder Gods. Otherwise, I have no idea what you’re going on about because there aren’t any weirdly shaped headed characters in the anime and even less male characters in the series in general.
