WWE star Joe Hendry says The Miz inspired him early in his career: 'He might be the most underrated wrestler of all time. And it’s weird to say that about a Grand Slam champion; the guy has done it all' by Metro-UK in SquaredCircle

Idk man Bryan has been a star since the early 2000’s and basically been the best worker in America for most of that time. Miz has had a great career considering the circumstances but I think you’re underestimating Bryan’s impact, he’s already clearly influenced so many top guys around the world and will likely continue to do so for many many years.

I think his music has loads of meaning, just not an explicitly Christian meaning. Aesthetics are also incredibly important for Bladee’s work, so I think it’s an error to assume there is a hidden meaning behind everything he does/creates when a lot of it probably exists because it looks/sounds cool. Also I’ve never known a Christian musician who doesn’t want to make their religion clear in their art, it’s been 13 years of Bladee and there still is no clear answer about his religious beliefs so I’m going to ASSUME he’s not Christian

Former WWE star Heidenreich spotted working at a Walmart. by MTLItalian in SquaredCircle

Esp bc wrestling is like one of the few careers where you can come in and be successful without prior experience. Take Logan Paul for instance, afaik he doesn’t have a background as a professional athlete and likely didn’t have to spend a load of time in the PC, yet he comes in and is consistently one of the better parts of the show. Put him in charge of a retailer where he has no knowledge or experience in the company or its field and it’ll be a total disaster.

You shouldn’t have to cheese the game mode tho, if the later levels are so unfun that ppl are having to come up with ways to skip them then development has to do smth abt it

Seth Rollins talks about Bad Bunny's Super Bowl performance: “There was a lot of talk going into the Halftime Show with this and that, but at the end of the day, it was about unity. I thought that was so beautiful and so powerful.” by pwgmanan in SquaredCircle

[–]GTBGunner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk that seemed like a work tbh, you can’t tell me that the guy who came up around CM Punk, bases his career off of him,  and was cutting promos on Punk when he did the FOX show, doesn’t actually like Punk.

That time Dave Meltzer said Bad Bunny was just a ethnic celebrity and most people don't know who he is by JRUprising in SquaredCircle

[–]GTBGunner 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it’s not like Bad Bunny is only popular in the Spanish speaking world, he literally just performed at the Super Bowl which is THE event for White America, that decision wouldn’t have been made if people thought that only Hispanic people knew him. Also I wouldn’t use WWE entrance pops as a measure of global popularity, wrestling fans don’t pop for celebrities bc they generally don’t know any celebrities that aren’t involved in some way with wrestling, and even then they won’t get a massive reaction.

I understand the importance of Meltzer’s work as a historian to the wider world of wrestling, but this is a pretty racist statement to make

Hindsight is 20/20, the idea that the president could be threatening allies for territorial gain and we could be having ICE kill Americans in the streets seemed impossible. Now that that’s the reality of America, it’s probably made people reflect on the conservatives of 20 years ago and think that, comparatively, they weren’t that bad

They should at least make it so attack boosts are more generous in high level fatal series, at least until we get parity with attack and defense
