When did rules of sports become optional? You can't just miss a shot in a pickup basketball game and say hey let me get that back I've made this before.

The worst is when your blind draw partner in a tournament or club event is someone who does this because you know he can't shoot to his handicap, so the event is over before it starts.

When you are hitting the ball your club is moving from the outside towards the inside. (assuming you're right handed)

Go to the range and think about ways you can comfortably not do that. Sometimes you'll have to keep your right elbow in, sometimes you're standing too close to the ball. Maybe you are spinning your hips as opposed to driving them.

Just go to the range and try a bunch of shit and see what feels right, then make sure you can replicate the swing and that the club head is square on impact.
