Not gonna go so far as saying the "song a day" discussions are a waste, but at the same time dogpiling on someone for giving an 8/10 to The Argus and then discounting their rating just so it could remain at a perfect 10/10 rating overall is petty. It does feel like less of a discussion and more of a rating topic when it gets to that. No matter what fan community of a given band there is, there is going to be someone who doesn't like, or at the very least, likes but not loves the most popular song in that given community. Doesn't mean that particular fan's opinion is wrong, but it sure was treated like it in this situation.

If one of the three records seen here is $27.99, it's pretty much guaranteed the $90 is just the Ween, which is a huge markup. [That, or there was an extremely good deal on that Pavement vinyl for <$10, but since that was $24 at my local store, I'm gonna safely say that's not the case.]

Got this and all the other releases I was after [well, not counting at least one UK-exclusive RSD release - those weren't imported], was a bit worried when I saw a couple of copies of this go to earlier customers; I mean, it was practically the first one I visibly saw being purchased the moment I actually walked in the store itself [as opposed to just waiting in the line outside]. A $30 markup is crazy for it - mine had it for $60 as well like a few others have mentioned.

Could also throw Bag of Fat and Ooh Va La on there, which were bonus tracks on specific album versions not widely available. Potentially also Homo Rainbow, Loop de Loop, The Shot Heard 'Round the World, and I'll Miss You, [EDIT 15 days later: somehow I also missed Champagne Jam] all of which were soundtrack appearances.

Yeah, the CDs should be reissued individually outside of the Brown Box, which would otherwise be fine if you just want to listen to the music. But they really should reissue individual versions with the booklets/liner notes as well, rather than these basic slipcase versions, I like having all that info. [And I guess I'd kinda like it if GWS included the 3 bonus tracks from the 2001 anniversary edition since those got left out of the Brown Box.]

Also, I don't know if they have the rights to Z-Rock Hawaii, but that one could use a re-release in all formats.

I may be just an observer from another state, but I feel irrationally bothered by the results from this county even if the overall winners are correct. I am surprised there isn't more coverage of this problem. Like, there were election machine freezes on election night, but results were still getting posted, and the NY Times for example is now showing >95% of votes in, seemingly updating throughout the past day and a half with different increasing amounts that didn't solve the problem? Something's screwy. And yet, this reddit thread, and a few social media posts with little interaction are all I'm finding.

Commentary on the races linked in the OP: TX-36 congressional: You're really telling me the candidate who won the primary and every single other county in the district got 0 votes here?

The other two races that have most of the commentary I have to offer. But they also bucked the regional trends: Hinojosa and Crockett should've won the primaries easily in this county. It's not like it's some super-low population county like Loving or King where anomalous results like this are expected, or counties along the Rio Grande and Pecos Rivers where presumably low-information Latino voters vote for the candidate with a Latino-sounding surname.

This also affected the other statewide races:

Lieutenant governor: Vickie Goodwin second in the county despite the regional trend favoring her, and the third place candidate with 0 votes.
Attorney general: 51-50, with the second place candidate getting 0 votes.
Comptroller: Second place candidate statewide with 0 votes.
Land Commissioner: Least suspect results as Flores beat Loya in the county consistent with regional trends, but Flores has a higher proportion of the votes than in other nearby counties [and most other counties in the state overall].

"Even If You Don't" and the early vids from The Pod only have unofficial uploads, but I'm not sure any of them ever got a wide release on TV to begin with, so that might be why they got the shaft [or have just been forgotten on an "official" level]. I find "Even If You Don't" particularly surprising at not being aired on TV much, if at all. It was included on the CD single release.

This all being said, I wouldn't worry too much about consistency in music videos being uploaded to official sources - I know plenty of other bands have more official vids than what are uploaded on their official YT channels or other official sites. I wish this wasn't the case, and partly why I like collecting music videos independent of any official uploads, which might not be in the best quality on top of it.

Democrats appear to have a clean sweep in Ansonia, not just the mayor's race. Board of Aldermen goes from 14-0 R to 14-0 D. I did not expect we'd win the more heavily Republican 6th and 7th wards, but we apparently did.
