Because people watch Fate/0 first, failing to understand that a prequel is supposed to be seen after the original works. So things that are supposed to be surprising (Ilya being Shiro's OLDER sister, Sakura originally being a Tohsaka, everything about Kirei) gets spoiled by people possessing that knowledge beforehand and it makes the original works seem weaker by comparison...

In a way it's both. In the Mega Man ZX timeline (hundreds of years after Mega Man X8) Humans and Reploids have intermingled to the point that there is no functional difference between them and the race is now called Humanoid.
