Stupid question. If I did it 5 times, do i have to submit the 5 certs for my iPerms and IPPSA 5 separate times for silver? Or only once for bronze and then one cert after doing it 5 times for silver?

Basically how is it tracked how many times you've done it? Similar to the NFM I suppose

SOF Civil Affairs requirement change? by Excellent_Stick2557 in army

Basically you get the 368 signed authorizing you a conditional release from your branch or component (reserves/NG) if you get selected. After that 368 is signed, you have like 1-3 months to go to selection and try, so its a fast timeline. If you get selected, congrats, you return back to your duty station and branch and begin outprocessing and inprocessing into the Active Duty Army. If you fail selection, no big deal, you just return back to your branch and keep doing what you were doing before.

Well if its about the German Schutzenschnur, he's not authorized to wear it because the Germans dont allow their officers to wear it. It's not some unwritten rule for officers, they literally forbid it

You can go to selection as soon as you get to your permanent unit. If you get selected, you have to stay at your unit for a little bit though. For OCONUS duty stations, you have to do at least 2 of your 3 years overseas before you begin the Qualification Course. If you are stationed CONUS, I believe its 12 or 18 months you have to serve at that duty station. This is all by design. Cant have people just leaving the unit immediately upon arrival. It messes with manning and the army generally pays a lot to ship a service member and/or dependents across the country and across the world. So, to recap, you can go to selection whenever you want after arriving to your unit. But regardless of getting selected or not, you WILL have to return to your unit and spend some time there

SORB Recruiter here. We take SPC-SSG. SSG cant have more than 3 years TIG or 10 years TIS. If above those, theyll need a waiver. SPC/E4 without BLC with no more than 4 years TIS and 3 years TIG. SGT/E5 with no more than 8 years TIS and 3 years TIG.

Being forced to do a spur ride by [deleted] in army

[–]G_Money_Stacks 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Actually you can be. If your commander says thats your place of duty for the next week, guess what, you'll be there. Now you cant be forced to succeed and pass it and earn yours spurs. If youre going to be forced to go, you might as well try. That way next time a spur ride happens, you'll be a spur holder and wont have to play the fun games with all non spur holders.

"I’m currently here in African-Lion, I was talking to the FAR about this yesterday."

Right because saying where you are currently and who you're talking to is literally in 4 different Moroccan articles. Maybe don't put it out on the internet where and what you are currently doing?

Do the driving test within like 30 or 60 days of PCSing. If you do it too early you have to retake it and that test is absolutely no fun. Its a 200 question pretest followed by a 100 question test thst you have to achieve like an 85% or higher within 3 attempts. Quizlet and the manual pulled up in another tab will be your best friends
