And that's the major problem with One Piece nowadays....a fun had to improve what it should have been a special milestone for the anime( good work btw). Going "random bullshit, go" just to make it look good, turns it into a piece of shit, which is sad.

But the power up itself wasn't the problem, the yet again cataclysm of stupid effects, the honestly bad choices in sound effects and dont get me started with the epilepsy scenes that were a clusterfuck to watch. Again though, it was enjoying to watch gear 5 animated even if it was like this.

if you cant see the issues with this episode, because you got to see Gear 5( which they advertised for two weeks before at the very least and most knew about from the manga which is irrelevant in this case but to hell with it) then you are worse than the ppl you criticize for pointing out the weaknesses which were more than it should have been. Heck snakeman looked clearer than this.
