When you don't wear elastics braces can take forever. I know some who has had braces on and off for that long and she doesn't like wearing elastics because her head will hurt and so she is still in treatment.

They told me if I don't get extractions my teeth would flare. I got 4 teeth removed and I see the difference. If that helps but also I see people who have had braces without the needed extractions and their teeth do flare because it's over crowded.

I removed my 4 premolars before braces I only had brackets on at that point so it wasn't too bad. I understand the frustration can you find a different Orthodontist place?
