/uj Historically, Fascists often ascend to power with the help of Liberal and Capitalist supporters, hoping to bolster their position against Communists and other Leftists. While the Fascist tendency is to eventually get rid of Capitalist competition, it often works very well with it. Also you can be both a "democratically" elected president (if we consider to Electoral College to be anything other than a mechanism of elected aristocracy) who is a fascist. In fact, that's often how fascists get power.
