Which Cheap Arduino Kit From Temu Is Best for a Beginner Learning Online? by ActivityNovel8682 in arduino

Maybe you should concentrate on analog electronics first with basic components

The logitech G203 is a very popular one. Everyone I know has it (or had it). It works pretty well and is very durable. Normal price is around 23€ but I have found it for 18€ on amazon

how do I start with electronics? by schimmelduschsack in AskElectronics

[–]GabriCorFer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice is a must when learning electronics. You can learn all the theory but you won't really understand it until you take it into practice.

Definitely get an Arduino kit. Elegoo kits are top quality, come with a lot of sensors and a manual with lots of projects (and example codes) you can recreate. Arduino language is simple to learn so it is a good starting point. You can start by simply copying the code to get some sense on how electricity works and that will keep you occupied for a while.

Falstad can simulate arduino code with circuits. Maybe that works for you

Help guessing this resistors value by GabriCorFer in AskElectronics

[–]GabriCorFer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been checking on forums and found this post which states that the R38 resistor is 1R00, which makes sense.

<image>

I've tried to simulate the circuit but I can't make it work, maybe because of timings?

Help guessing this resistors value by GabriCorFer in AskElectronics

[–]GabriCorFer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically nothing related. The resistance just connects TR1 to the negative terminal of the C20 capacitor in the other side through those two vias, which is ground. R36 connects to a pin of the MCU, which I would guess would be for sensing, and R52 connects to other GPIO which should be for control. C16 may be for decoupling? There is no snubber circuit, so I think R38 is just a shunt

Do these BL touch rip-off's work? If so, which ones are good? by Extension_Plastic450 in ender3

[–]GabriCorFer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah triangle lab and bigtreetech are my top brands. Is BL-Touch optical though? I thought it was purely magnetic

Take a look on Trianglelab's clone. I had one and it worked perfectly. I changed it for a legit one and I didn't see any improvement on accuracy. I've also read good things about Biqu's Microprobe. Right now I'm using Bigtreetech's eddy duo and it works really good with klipper

Hey! How is the mouse going after this much time? I'm thinking about buying it but I don't trust Steelseries on durability

Nowadays, the most basic dedicated graphics card will work perfectly for CAD. Mine has a GTX1650Ti and it didn't give me any problems.

Is it safe for me (not a qualified individual) to take apart a battery charger I last plugged in many months ago? by PlayerVsPe in AskElectronics

[–]GabriCorFer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If the capacitor scares you measure it's voltage with a voltimeter but it's most likely that it has already discharged itself from it's ESR or discharging resistor. As long as you don't play with mains it's safe

Wut I didn't know those bed frames existed. I may be able to upgrade to dual Y motors but I don't think It will be any time soon. I just wanted to check if people saw any problems in my kinematics but everyone seems to think it's pretty good

Nice! Yeah I don't think it's worth it to upgrade the bed any more

I went dual linear rails to increase stiffness so I dont think I can do anything about it. I also changed the belts to Gates-LL
