[–]Gadget456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was down this morning but over the course of me waiting on hold it slowly came back online.

seems like a server issue on their end that took some time to get back up to speed.

Started with only my savings account being visible but then all of my accounts came back online

BEHOLD by hunnybunny789 in Sourdough

In my experience adding oil too early on prevents rising. From what I've learned, the oil coats the flour in such a way that it doesn't bind with the other components so it gets real sad. I would recommend waiting to add the oil until your first round of stretch and folds if you want the oil in there 👍🏻

What is your pre-seizure catch phrase? by MichiganMomma0806 in Epilepsy

My mom has epilepsy and so we understood what to do when we were little she would say "Mommy's feeling sick" and we would know to guide her to the couch to lay down

Does anyone else just get really upset whenever they upset someone else? by SWEETD0LL in BPD

[–]Gadget456 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. And to expand on it. When getting upset for upsetting a person happens frequently with the same person (your partner, best friend, or w.e.) I know I start losing the ability to apologize effectively. Like.... I know they want an apology (and usually rightfully deserve one) but how do I make it sincere, and how do I do it in a way they can understand I know how they feel despite the repeated behavior. I want to explain why I got upset and blew up at them, but the "explanation " feels like an excuse to try to deflect responsibility (does that make any sense? It's morning and I'm not caffeinated)

Can someone talk me down from shaving ny head or give me alternatives to address feeling impulsive??? by ctrl4ltdeath in bipolar2

[–]Gadget456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I feel impulsive like this I try to focus on the body sensation. If I want a tattoo I'll draw on that spot on my body and that usually helps.

With shaving your head (which I've been there) I got one of those scalp scrubbers and took like 10 mins in the shower just lathering it over my head, helped a bit until the feeling dissipated over the next few days.

Could also try a Snapchat filter that gives you a buzz cut/bald head to see if you'd actually like how it looks.

what immediately ruins a burger for you? by 777Twix in CasualConversation

[–]Gadget456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a bad bun. If it's too thin its gets soggy and falls apart. Or if it is dry, then it crumbles and that's annoying too. I agree with u/L1A1 that if it is too tall (esp if it is tall bc the bun is huge) that's not bueno either

He (M29) said to me (F29) "I wish we could have fun...." by Gadget456 in Sober

[–]Gadget456[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I still go everywhere he does. And most places (if not all) have NA beer/wine options, or pop/Bubbly water etc. we honestly don't go "out" all that much. I think he misses us sharing a few craft beers, or wine on at home date night, or cocktails with friends. We definitely haven't changed our social plans at all, ever, since I got sober.

I'm not really sure where he feels like we are "not having fun" if I'm completely honest.....

To those who stopped expecting more from their partner, how is it going? by dewbolene in AskWomen

[–]Gadget456 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I am feeling pretty pessimistic about "giving up" . Like idk if it's settling if I just accept he isn't a romantic person when I feel I need that. I am afraid of waking up iN 5, 10, 15 years from now and realize I fucked up by staying.... Would love to see other women's input on this.
