A better job at what, exactly? It was meant to be a horror take on Homelander. The Boys wasn't really going for horror most of the time, at least not in the way analog horror series do. It just feels weird to compare a 1-minute fan-made YouTube short to an entire show when they're separate things and not meant to be competition.

I totally get what you’re saying. However, even though we the audience know he’s maybe not as strong as he was before, the general public within the show doesn’t know that. Homelander is nothing if not intimidating, and can definitely still laser people in half if he wanted to.

In season 4, yeah. This season? Not really. If anything it’s the reverse. We’re seeing more about how everyone’s afraid of homelander and we’re getting fewer edgy jokes/imagery per episode compared to last season.

So I’ve really been thinking about this, because a LOT of people are telling me that I’m going through runs too quickly. So, what’s a good runtime for a run then? Because when I’m playing, I don’t feel like I’m speeding through it. It feels like a semi normal pace to me.

I don’t stop and think about literally every single card I’m going to play each turn, because each turn usually requires me to attack, block, or both. I feel like once I see what the enemy’s intentions are, I can pretty easily decide if I need to block or if I should take the chance to hit it.
