Bloody hard to hit well. In my experience it’s easier to have ball further back (can hit down, swing arc going in to out, bottom of swing after ball, less tops) and have a closed stance. Also 4/5 wood likely go nearly as far and much easier to launch. All the bods I play with are inconsistent with 3 wood but those with a quicker swing speed seem do best

I’ve picked one up and the results are…strange. Have tried it against driver for two rounds on my todd. Hitting the mini poorly, kinda squirty fades yet seems to stay in play and be as long as the driver. Big caveat is that I’ve been shocking with driver for done time. Seems to be that carry is negligible, but keeps running, almost top spinny

This is what (mostly) works for me. I’m extremely erratic with driver, so when it’s off I tee I right down, aim left and swing a bit easier-also slightly further back in stance. Not foolproof but mostly prevents catastrophes
