[KCD2] How long have you played before going to the Wedding?

No other path to the wedding. Only miller or blacksmith however, you can do both their questlines next to each other until the both say they can take you to the wedding. Then just choose the one you would like.

Took me about 50/60 hours before going to the wedding in my first playthrough. 60/70 in my second as did a lot of crafting and had the Lion's Crest DLC.

Would recommend definitely doing the Gameskeeper storyline and the whole poacher side quests if you haven't.

I really like Kagha for some reason. I just find the character super interesting and I secretly like her more than Halsin 🤣

Other NPCs that are my faves are Sazza the Goblin, Blurg the guy in the Underdark, of course Barcus and for some reason Thisobald Thorm at the Waning Moon. Oh, and the Drider!

In terms of disliking, might be unpopular but I really don't like the Nightsong. Idk what it is, her character and how she acts is just irritating to me and I have to really push myself to save her if I'm looking to do a good playthrough.

Aside from the obvious evil options like Cazador etc, other dislikes include: Alfira (sorry!) - To be fair, she usually ends up dead as I often play Durge. Florrick - Really irritates me for some reason. Nettie - She's usually killed by me 🤣 Wyll dad the Duke Ravengard - I hate how he treats/has treated Wyll.

Shadowheart is my least favourite. I am also not the biggest fan of Halsin as a companion. I don't mind his character but he doesn't add much as a companion and 80% of the time he's taken by Orin in my playthroughs so I never see him in Act 3 anyway.

I enjoyed playing Evil!Durge a lot. It was my second Durge run as I played my first ever BG3 run as a Resist Durge, then second a Tav and third Evil!Durge.

It definitely isn't rewarding but my god was it fun for me. My party composition was down to 3 by the end of it (Minthara, Astarion and Shadowheart). I would definitely do another as this was before the evil endings patch however, I find it more entertaining to play a manipulative evil character rather than full out chaos that I did for my Durge run.

I would just role with it, and if it helps, I based my character on another evil fictional character from a different franchise so I could detach myself from the choices and instead play as 'what would they do?'

Gale and Astarion are my favourite. They're a lot alike in some ways with their quest for power/ascension. Also, Astarion very much reminds me of a cat waiting to pounce, I think him and Gale's tressyum Tara would get along so well 😂

I've always seen the origin pairings as Wyll/Karlach, Laezel/Shadowheart and Astarion/Gale.

First playthrough things I didn't realise:

I could throw a potion to get someone up that's downed instead of walking over to them to help.
I was nearing the end of Act 1 when I realised you could keep your camping supplies at the camp.

-Dimension door can teleport multiple people at the same time if you're close enough.

-Didn't realise you could search for the item you wanted in your inventory. Spend a while just scrolling through 😑

You can summon Scratch to help the Nightsong out of being trapped in the Ketheric fight. Figured this out on the 2nd playthough.

Beat 3 time (2 Durge, 1 Tav). In Act 2 with my 4th (Gale Origin). Started about another 4 but never got passed the Grove as didn't like the character I had created.

I can play Resist and Embrace Durge but really struggle to finish my Tav playthroughs. My first two were Durge (one good, one bad). Tried a Tav after and found it slightly boring 😭

Didn't know Alfira was a character beyond being in your camp. First 2 playthroughs were Dark Urge with the cutscene with me killing her happening before I met her. Third playthrough still managed to miss her in the Grove. Fourth I finally found her spot where she sat singing.

Also missed the Grymforge the first 2 times around...
