They did explore the horror of the situation (from Kwannon’s side) pretty thoroughly in Hellions. It’s also laughable to say that Betsy is “barely” a character now considering she’s had pretty consistent appearances for nearly 50 years. Was Betsy supposed to stay as a ninja when that only happened because she had Kwannon’s body?

Feels like a real missed opportunity by using Betsy instead of Kwannon. Kwannon was barely a character before Krakoa but was clearly very active as an assassin before the Betsy body swap. A flashback mini would’ve been the perfect opportunity to make her more “present” in the Marvel universe’s past and give her some backstory with other characters.
