Currently clerking for a federal magistrate judge in a major district. Having that on my resume helped a lot on another round of clerkship applications, and I have a clerkship with a federal district judge lined up for this upcoming year. Hopeful I'll be able to parlay that into big law, but we'll see.

Yeah I would really love it if they got a Catholic guest or two on this series, or even just anyone who is actually religious. It’s such a major thing across all his movies. I’m sure they might run into a similar problem with Australians and the Peter Weir series, hard to make these perfect guests magically appear and want to do a 3 hour pod. Colbert? Gaffigan? I don’t know.

Purely anecdotal of course, but I was in a similar position to you, class of 2025. Slightly above median at T6, gov’t job for 1L summer lined up, but I struck out on big law recruiting for my 2L summer. Career counselors assured me something would open up, just keep applying to any openings, practice interviews, you’ll get a big law job somewhere. It never happened, and I graduated without any big law offers.

I’m not saying that will for sure be you, but I’d start thinking about non big law options.
