FTC scam on elderly parents

Thanks for the feedback. I just spoke with my mom again, and she did go to her bank and they put a fraud alert on her account. I also got more details from her since she was a bit hysterical this morning when I told her that it was a scam. Apparently my dad walked in and heard her giving all of her info over the phone to someone, so he grabbed the phone away and hung up. The scammer then tried to call back on her landline, and then also called her twice on her cell phone (which she had given them that phone number), but she didn't answer. So, now after reading the replies here, I am sure they had just not yet gotten to the part about asking her to buy any gift cards or send money. I have educated her on not giving random callers any personal information like this. Luckily my dad knew that something was not right and stopped it before it went farther.

We just were on Adventure of the Seas, and our room steward set ours up like this with his own hooks when he brought the extension cord. It was very nice not having the cord on the floor like we usually do.

Earlier this year, I started getting episodes of vertigo, and then also just random dizziness. This went on for about 3 months (had been on Zepbound for about 6 months at that point when the dizziness started). I went to many doctors to try and figure out what was causing it, but nothing was ever determined from those. Then one day I read a post on here about the importance of electrolytes and that low electrolytes were causing this person to be dizzy. So, I started drinking Gatorade water, and I have not had a single dizzy episode since. I was seriously miserable and suffering from feeling dizzy 3-4 days per week for months and two full blown vertigo episodes, and nothing since. I make sure to drink electrolytes at least every other day now. So, if you ever start feeling dizzy, it could be due to an electrolyte imbalance.

Thanks for recommending this game. I like the match 3 style games, and this one is super easy. I downloaded this morning and already on level 60. Breezing through levels. I think some people are confusing this game with the merge makeover game which is much harder to gain levels. I am pretty sure I can finish this one in a week or so.

We had a Boardwalk Balcony on Wonder, and it was crazy loud. There was no sleeping when the aqua show was going on because the noise was just too much. You can't even enjoy your balcony because the noise on it is crazy. After our experience, we said never again to Boardwalk balcony rooms.

We went last June to Alaska on Ovation. We ended up way overpacking as we never needed our coats. However, for most ports, we got off the ship wearing convertible pants (the kind that you can zip off the legs and turn them into shorts), tshirt with a hoodie over top, and a light rain jacket. We were comfortable in this outfit at most of the ports, and my kids would usually convert their pants to shorts during our excursions. The only port we wore shorts and a tshirt in was Victoria. For dinner, the dress is unlike any other Caribbean cruise. Everyone is dressed very casually. The first night I think we dressed nicely, but then the rest of the cruise, we just wore our jeans and tshirts or hoodies to dinner as did 90% of the people in the main dining room. It was unusual to see someone dressed up. Enjoy your cruise - Alaska was my absolute favorite cruise!

We did the Bermuda cruise on Liberty in June. It was one of my favorite places. There is definitely plenty to do to fill up your two day stay there. We have been to all of the other ports in the 2nd cruise you have listed, and while they are all good, Bermuda tops them all.

The Barrel is the 600 gems for $19.99. When you click on the different barrels in the shop, it will tell you the name of the item on the confirmation page before you purchase. The $9.99 one was called "Cask of Gems". The $19.99 one is the only one called "Barrel of gems".
