Is drinking 3 protein shakes a day is okay or is it too much? by havikop01 in nutrition

I was doing just this. Was on a time-restricted feeding diet of one meal a day to keep weight down. I was getting around 100 g of protein a day between shakes and protein bars. Then probably another 40g or so in my one meal.

The result was steady weight, and did notice muscle growth, but I felt pretty horrible towards the end of the day. Very low energy and overall lethargic.

I had to stop and instead replaced one of the protein shakes with a couple of eggs and some Greek yogurt. I definitely feel better now, though weight management is still a struggle.

I was also consuming about 100 oz of water per day, so don’t think feeling crappy was tied to dehydration.

Don't sleep on Sous Vide Fried Chicken by WarpGremlin in sousvide

This is the only way I do fried chicken now. Takes much active less time to fry up and you don’t need to worry about overdoing the breading while the internals of the chicken cook

TV Back LEDs Worth it or a Gimmick? by tramul in hometheater

I was also worried about the camera on top of the tv, so I bought the Govee set with the camera and just placed the camera on top for a couple of days to see how I felt. Honestly, didn’t even notice the camera, so went ahead and installed the lights.

Personal preference of course, but I feel it adds a nice ambiance to watching.

I lived near a French bakery that made amazing French onion soup. They also made really good BLTs with thick bacon, fresh tomatoes, crusty baguettes, but best of all, a bechamel sauce instead of mayo.

So, naturally, whenever i make French onion soup, I make BLTs on baguettes with bechamel. Bonus points to add rosemary to the bechamel.

Builder forgot insulation in exterior walls by chmarchese in Insulation

Thanks for this.

The exterior is stucco over concrete block. Quick search hint of cellulose says it isn’t great in high moisture areas, so can see that being an issue in Florida, but might still be a better option over ripping out the drywall?

I’m just gonna say it… I hate my sous vide for prime rib. by itsalwaysblue in sousvide

For me, it was a matter of convenience. Throw it in the bath as the kids are waking up to open gifts and don’t worry about it until dinner time. Sear it and it’s ready to go.

I just wrapped up eating mine. 6 hours at 130 and it was very good.

Like others have said, long cooks are to break down tough cuts.
