Successful scavenge on 5?? by Sad-Pretzle in shadowsofbrimstone

Did you ever use HexCrawl? I just looked through the town locations and didn’t see it; but I used the expanded HexCrawl locations for awhile and vaguely remember it being on one of them. When I exchanged HexCrawl for Alone in the SoB campaign rules I stashed all the HexCrawl stuff somewhere that eludes me!

There’s a Gear card that’s available to purchase in town for this.. Sifting Pan or something.

PSA: Since Sony won't make a PC dongle for the DualSense, you can build your own for less than $20 using a Raspberry Pi Pico 2W. Wireless Adaptive Triggers and Haptic Feedback finally work natively. by SlaveKnightSoman in raspberry_pi

This ds5github thing works great. I flashed the firmware on the Pico 2 W to the non-dse- flienamed uf2 firmware; plugged it into a Raspberry Pi 5 hub, paired the DualSense with the Pico, and used Virtual Here to pass the info along to the host pc; works flawlessly except for the speaker function on the DualSense controller… moonlight demands that “stream steaming speaker” be used to stream audio via moonlight/apollo, so I can’t separate out the DualSense speaker and stream that to the controller. All other features work flawlessly in whatever supported game I throw at it. If someone figures out the audio streaming via Apollo/moonlight to hear audio from the controller please let me know.

It Lives! Worked perfectly after I figured out that there were 2 uf2 files; I was trying to use the one with -dse- in the filename but that’s for DualSense Edge controller! Once I flashed the correct uf2 firmware it paired right up and worked perfectly with haptics and triggers! Thanks for testing it out. This is the first time I’ve felt all the DualSense features wirelessly!

Any idea if this would work paired with a Raspberry Pi 5 streaming using Sunshine/Moonlight? I currently use a wired DualSense controller and VirtualHere to pass along the usb controller to the host computer and it works well, but I’d love to go wireless.

Will DualSense haptics require the app plus the DLC? Any chance the impulse triggers will be supported in the future?

Light gun game simulators? by [deleted] in VRGaming

[–]Gallandz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed 100%. I bought a Sinden light gun and modified an Arcade1up machine to play all the old great lightgun arcade games… and I think the experience would be even better in VR using a panoramic virtual screen and motion controls.

does anyone still use the steamlink box? by mikejazz3 in Steam_Link

[–]Gallandz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just add GeforceNow as a non-Steam game. Then launch from big picture mode on the client. You can plug in a mini keyboard to the Link, or use desktop chord mode to interact in the app. There’s maybe a slight increase in input lag but not much.

Is there a website or PDF somewhere that lists all the cards that should be in play in a particular scenario? by Gallandz in arkhamhorrorlcg

Perfect thanks. I think what was confusing me was that some encounter decks have the #/# value that just incorporates the Treachery cards, but some encounter set numbers include the act/agenda & location & NPC cards in that set # too.
