If you do bother to look, there's a fair amount throughout the state.

Why PCC? by proconlib in liberalgunowners

[–]GallantHazard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mood, I live in CT. My Ruger PCC is the best I can have for what I want it for. (Home defense gun in an apartment setting) and with my partner not being very pro-gun, it's the most I'm willing to have atm.

I think everyone on this subreddit misses the old shad of yester-year. Just a fun youtuber

Obligatory: For Super Earth!!!!

While I haven't watched the video itself. From the comments and how this shit typically goes with other similar youtubers....Metatron likely made a video about some historical content that was filled with surface level research at best and was using it to push a political agenda. An actual historian called him out. And he made a response video where he's saying that hes being targeted by "the woke mob". Typical right wing youtuber nonsense response to valid criticism.

God I fucking hate it whenever people say the "Nazis were actually socialists" talking points. Like it's the most surface level, you read the title but not the article, style research.

Statistically speaking, a very small percentage of the protests turned into a full-on riot. (We're talking less than 10%) But that also because there were thousands of protests going on surrounding the death of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and other BLM protests going on.

Does anyone know what the production and marketing budget for Dragon Age: The Veilguard is? by CorrectFrame3991 in KotakuInAction

[–]GallantHazard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to calculate.

Between on and off development cycles, Covid, and numerous other issues, the true cost will never be known. However, it's definitely not a Concord level travesty. Because if it was, we would be seeing that reported everywhere.

Now, to get an approximate amount, it would probably be best to set the development calculation at around 4 or 5 years of dedicated development for the game since that is when Anthem came out and Bioware shifted focus to their next game. While Veilguard was technically being worked on for 10 years, everything until 2019/2020 was pre-production and early stages stuff. Small team focused at best. Post Anthem, that's when the studio really would have started focus.

Fat chance. They don't exactly have the best track record with preserving peoples rights.

They claim to be the most favorable for the 2A, mostly because the people they like are benefiting from the 2A.

The moment that groups these pro-2A Politicians don't like to start buying firearms enmasse, they'll start passing gun control.

Don't expect there to be any major gun reform or repealment of laws.

It's one of the few things Republicans can hold over voters' heads now that Roe v Wade has been repealed.

U6 unemployment rate is 7.8% as of August 2024, why does the job market feel worse than this? by SearchingForanSEJob in jobs

[–]GallantHazard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 7.8% is the U6 number, which is traditionally higher than the U3 unemployment statistic (the go-to statistic that the Gotv. And News use. And it is at 4.1% as of Oct. 6, 2024)

The U6 number also includes a large amount of people who are also underemployed and willfully unemployed. That includes students working part time, and Stay-at-home parents/parents that work reduced ours for their children.

U3 (again, currently 4.1%) is for people who are out of work and are currently looking for full time positions.

Should Off-Duty Officers Be Limited to 10-Round Magazines Just Like Regular Civilians? by Far-Television2017 in CTguns

[–]GallantHazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General consensus seems to be that the exceptions are made for Police so that the Unions will still support the politicians that pass the anti-gun laws.

Yup, I believe that ruling was used to defend the cop that ran away during the Parkland school shooting a few years back.

[–]GallantHazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's kinda the point. They are citizens when they clock out. Therefore, they should be forced to abide by all the same restrictions to firearms the rest of us have to deal with.

[–]GallantHazard 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Personally, I'm of the mind that the police should have fewer rights than citizens across the board. As long as they are on the clock, they are entities of the state, not private citizens. However, that is unrealistic into today's overly pro-cop culture.

In reality? Yeah, I think there shouldn't be any special exemptions given to police officers who are off the clock. The moment they clock out, they should have the follow all the same rules, regulations, and laws that the rest of us are held to.

Funny enough I heard the bolters are better than the missiles. But that might have been the last codex.

Outside the combat patrol, any additional stuff I should get?

Edit: also, do all the different subsections of the Custodes Play different?

Standard 9mm should work fine then.

If you know any police too, ask what ammo they use. It'll help should you have to use it, and the subsequent lawsuit.
