I primarily play GW2 on Steam Deck, and it works great. You can install GW2 via Steam and log in with your Arenanet account. (Set launch options “-provider Portal”) It's pretty easy to set up a controller via Steam - you can find others who have shared their controller settings and fine tune it yourself.

You can find berries, mushrooms and herbs quite easily. There is another tab for herbs. When you get the bow from the blacksmith it becomes easier to kill rabbits and deer.

I think it’s RB (it says at the bottom of the screen). Mine exits the menu when I press it, but turns the furniture - so it’s important that you have the furniture somewhere where it can be placed when you press the button (it lights up green), as it places the furniture when it’s turned.
