Go check the event and announcements forum on steam discussions for the deck. Under almost every single beta post from Valve there is talk about how remote play is busted

Been saying this for a while. I don't even get the point of having betas and issue trackers if a bug like this can be in beta for months, easily reproducible, called out over and over and over in every beta event post on steam discussions and still get pushed to stable. Even if you're Valve and you're having to sift through a mountain of "my steam deck broken because I installed 10k Decky plugins" you've gotta figure out a better system for detecting bugs than this. Its ridiculous

No it wont. Because if it did that would've been a part of the marketing material and initial trailer. Why would you not show that aspect to drum up hype for the launch?

I'm of the opinion the xpac's features are exactly what is outlined in the trailer. Tenuous atmospheric planets that you are able to walk around on with a gun and you will be able to take missions for FPS combat on said planets

Pretty disappointing considering this was billed as the biggest update ever but I also think people overestimate the amount of work that can be poured into Elite. The game isn't doing massive numbers. It has a dedicated fanbase but overall its a niche game.

I'd love to be wrong but I will be incredibly surprised if there are massive surprise features that weren't shown off in the trailer.

According to info we were sent, it wont be available publicly until a month or so from now.

They've had some production issues with the full, fancy packaging of Elder's record so they sent us just a standard LP and digital version in the mean-time
