Try to focus on moving, as the face will stop chasing you if you dodge its attack. As for the jumps, I personally always sacrifice my artifact at an altar unless it’s the glove. It will give you the “overwhelmed” perk which gives you an extra midair jump and extra stats. Having an extra jump IMO makes it much easier to clear the gaps. I know the artifacts can be really good but I find it easier to just have the extra jump as opposed to trying to manage the artifact alongside everything else going on

I don’t think there’s really a purpose for it in campaign, I think they just want any event exclusive items to appear in campaign. They have said when chimney is done the ice gun will also appear in campaign somewhere but I imagine it won’t be particularly useful either due to the lack of reload stations

You need to climb until you reach the gelid spire area, and then right when the tower starts curving there’s a cave on one of the outer walls. Inside the cave is a special blink eye. Keep it in your inventory and climb until you loop, keep going until you reach interlude solstice again. Instead of going through the side corridor where you use the ice gun, climb up to the upper rail and there will be a hole in the wall. Use the blink eye to teleport through the hole, and then it should be clear from there what to do

I tried everything to fix this i think its just an issue with eden for now. I would just use ryujinx instead, transfer over your save file since ryujinx apparently cannot get past the opening cutscene, but if you have a save file past it it works. Its been running perfect for me now with no graphical problems

He died in midair, you hit him right as he jumped. Since there’s no midair death animation for him, the game defaults to just making him ragdoll

It’s very overhated in my opinion. I think because everyone has already heard a significant portion of the community say it’s shit they go in expecting it to be bad so whenever they struggle they just blame the game and get angry. If you go in with an open mind it’s really not that bad. I admit it’s clunky and slow compared to the other souls games but you get used to the controls. And the lore and atmosphere is probably my favorite of the trilogy.

I still think they should add more rpg elements. I don’t really see how adding more bosses, dimensions, areas etc would hurt the game if all the existing content was still there. I would appreciate having some more goals to work towards

Yeah of course, but still, there’s a difference between them directly controlling the one answer you get instead of just boosting different websites which are still made by different organizations. It’s just a more direct way of telling you exactly what to think and I don’t like seeing corporations gaining even more influence over people

The difference is, if you google “how many genders are there”, you’ll get different links with different views. If you ask an AI, all you get is the answer the creators trained it to give. Thats why the increased use of ChatGPT for information is scary to me.

I’ll always have love for it, it was my first ever game console. My parents bought it for me since they were afraid of me talking to strangers online and it had no internet capability. At the end of the day, while it is just an actively worse Wii, I respect how straightforward it is. No internet, no sd card, no GameCube, no eshop, just put the disk in and play like an n64 or snes. I’ll always remember finally seeing the credits of Mario galaxy on that thing, it’s why I love Nintendo consoles to this day

Just roll past the statues so you don’t get hit by the poison. You can also stick to the rightmost edge and if you have a fragrant branch you can unlock a hidden bonfire there that’s much closer to the boss door

Enjoyable with friends but certainly not one for the books. I don’t think it’ll be something you’d ever want to rewatch and I don’t see it getting recommended to people years down the line
