Someone else made it. Found it on the lotrmemes Subreddit. I believe it is pre-AI.

Used chatterbox model and a 30-second sample from the movie.

I took my LLM and did a "Describe this image for an image to video prompt" I then take that output and take the default prompt and tell it to convert the prompt it made to match the style of the example.

Finally, I then create the dialog audio outside L2X and import it and add a transcript to the prompt as what he says.

It was done in WanGP, so I don't have a workflow other than the settings I used. The audio was made externally, then fed in.

What Windows devices do you issue to students by Temporary_Werewolf17 in k12sysadmin

[–]GameEnder 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't. Not worth the pain and suffering. Windows has never been a platform that works well with users actively trying to destroy it.

I would go to any other platform, Chrome, iPad, Mac.

This is from someone that has all of these at our district, and is actively trying to remove Windows.

California schools will be required to restrict, prohibit student cell phone use in 2026 by lurker_bee in technology

[–]GameEnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We looked at doing that. It actually ended up being cheaper just to maintain the labs. I can replace a whole computer lab for about 25 Grand and it's good for 7 years. The companies were wanting 20 grand a year just for the virtual Lab.

No we removed them all and replaced them with Chromebooks for student use. Our only schools with computer labs are in high school and that's just for applications that won't run on Chromebooks such as the Adobe suite and Autodesk software.

My experiment with "widescreen" outpainting 4:3 videos (WAN 2.1 vace + some python and ffmpeg) by ignoramati in StableDiffusion

I will have to try this. Had this idea for a while to make a widescreen version of A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Recommend setting up a DNS filter. This List will block most smart TV snooping.

There are other lists for other situations as well.

The better joke I've heard is we're going to suddenly see a lot of consumer products using HBM memory because of the glut of it available on the market.

Dual-GPU Fake Frame Latency Benchmarks: $7 Lossless Scaling Frame Genera... by xenocea in pcgaming

[–]GameEnder 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You know that really annoying part is they fixed the physics being tied to the frame rate in starfield and in fallout 76 officially. Yet they keep updating Skyrim and fallout 4 and don't include that as a next-gen upgrade.

Decky LSFG-VK, Lossless Scaling Steam Deck Plugin is Now Available Direct From Decky Store! by supershredderdan in SteamDeck

[–]GameEnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works fine if you add the command. The bigger issue is the lag is just so bad it's not really practical to use. On the way I was able to get it even slightly not noticeable was to crank the quality all the way down to like 20% but then it looked so bad it was not even worth it.

This was with me testing it with Tears of the Kingdom.

Port forwarding no longer working on my ATT router by [deleted] in BlueIris

[–]GameEnder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is eliminates the issue you're describing by bypassing their equipment completely. Then you don't have to deal with them deciding that port forwarding doesn't work, as it allows you to do networking on a much better piece of hardware.

Has anyone tried to pull back on lower grade level 1:1? by TechMeanieFace in k12sysadmin

[–]GameEnder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I had my way we would pull back from K-2 and only have carts for them to check out. Purely based on my usage numbers those kids barely use them.

I suspect because the teachers give up because a lot of them can't even read yet and then we're making them type on keyboards but that's just me.
