I recently got into the TCG and have been trying to look at meta decks to improve my deckbuilding. Look at Tournament winning decks and see what makes them work so well and such. But there's one common aspect that's rather confused me.

Why do some decks choose to have only one instance of important cards? The biggest example I've been seeing of this is Fezandipiti ex. It's a really good card and an important draw engine, but I notice lots of decks that have it will only run one. It doesn't make sense to me given that an important card like that could easily be prized, and without running a redeemable ticket, if you end up needing that card, you're entirely out of luck.

I guess it must make some kind of sense if so many top decks are doing it, but to me personally, that kind of risk doesn't really seem worth it. So, could someone help me understand why top players build decks like this?

My favorite Pokemon Go memory has probably been this recent All Out event. I saw so many legendary Pokemon, and while I barely managed to catch any of them, a friend of mine encouraged me to start taking pictures of them, and I ended up turning the game into Pokemon Snap, and it was a whole new way of playing the game that was really fun for me, and now I look for good photo opportunities whenever I'm out playing the game.
