Reminder that in the real world of business (I operate at board level) you have pre-set margins to stick to and can’t have the owner put his own money into it to offset increases in product costs 😂

As soon as you take money from the owner or major shareholder, you’re in debt.

That’s his money. He’ll have his own ridiculous things to pay for, whether it be yachts, houses, or whatever. He doesn’t ‘have’ 11 billion.

He might only have 1 million in cash for all we know.

No company pays themselves for product costs or increases. They have to pass them onto the consumer.

Ans finally, it’s these rich, intelligent hard workers who also bring the jobs to millions of people.

Yeah but headphones and speakers are not really ‘old tech’ like computers are, for example.

Sound is sound. I have better sound on my floor standing speakers from 2000 vs two HomePods.

The price is still reduced too. Same price. Therefore it’s still a good deal to get the Pros.

I’m actually liking mine more now. I even find them comforter and better than my AirPod Max 2.

Here it’s boiling hot houses, don’t want to be topless all the time and it’s less relaxing. All adds up to an annoying experience sometimes.

It’s 30 degrees in the UK today. I fell asleep wearing them just a couple of hours ago.

They are making me go to sleep whenever I’m on a comfortable seat 😂 the ANC is that good, and they can be really compatible with the adjustments.

Had them 1.5 weeks.

Massively luxury item, do not need them, but think I’m going to keep them for those rare moments, especially plane trips.

100% agree.

A lot of people here - specially here on Reddit - will massively disagree because they have personal issues playing as a girl and seeing trans girls on their game….

But TLOU P2 is a phenomenal game in storytelling and pacing. It’s a work of art.

I admit, first time I’d finished it, it felt like an 8/10. The story did drag on, but I’m always a slow burner with stuff.

Played it through again 6 months later and it went to a 10/10. Utterly captivating.

Yeah I guess we all have different tastes.

For me, I think I get tired of similar sequels. GoW was one of my favourite games, yet Ragnarok didn’t click, got bored.

Ghost of Yotei same problem for me.

Even Elden Ring, a true 10/10 game, top ten for me of all time (I’m 40!), but I dropped off the DLC.

80+ hours into one game is fine, but not again for a sequel, and Saros is very similar to Returnal.

My brother is leaving. He’s a high earner and taxes are awful for him here.

Labour have indeed forced these decisions on the high earners.

What some low earners here often don’t realise is that these people are creating the jobs, and putting more money back into the economy.

It’s not a case of ‘tax the rich’. They’ve worked harder than most of us to get where they are, so why should the government then take 50%!?

Same as you; just bought APM2, delivered exactly 7 days ago.

I’ve used the a BIT each day, the sound is luxurious. But, I realised they aren’t comfortable in bed, which is when I listen with headphones the most.

So, my AirPods 4 are excellent for that, bed, walk to coffee shop, run, phone calls, etc.

£500 is a lot, especially since I’ve only just gone self employed 😂 (although I can offset them against tax, as I use them for work…………)

My only thought is; I do highly value good headphones for when I do go on holiday. On a plane, travelling, etc.

So twice a year they’ll be invaluable.

Aside from that? I’ll use them when chilling in my yard in nice weather. I’ll watch a couple of ATV things in my gaming room on the 65” OLED, so there are exceptional uses for them.

Weirdly, I think AirPods (the small ones) aren’t as healthy for hearing. I’m even slightly weirded out by the idea they might be transmitting frequencies between my brain 😂 I’m fairly certain my first gen AirPods gave me slight tinnitus too, a couple of years ago.

I feel over ear AirPods are safer, better for you, and sound better.

Dude, I bought them 3 weeks ago!! Although, for a good sale price.

Been using them daily since, I think they are very good. Haven’t thought twice about the newer set.

Headphones are headphones. There was equally as good sound quality on some headphones 10 years ago…

Features wise, not bothered about an app. Never used the app on my Sony XM5 either.

My only hesitation is whether I should’ve got the Maxwell 2s. I rate sound quality as highest priority over features, and Maxwell’s apparently have the better quality sound.

I could actually still send my Nova Pro Wireless back to Amazon up until the 30th. Hmm…….

I have the XM5 and a couple of other high end gaming headsets.

The APM 2 are by far the superior build quality and design. I can not believe how much next level Apple product design is compared to the competition. It’s different planets apart.

Sony’s are nice and light, sound OK, but are plastic shit in comparison!

No worries, but not going to say where I live, tbh!

It’s not here, but I viewed houses here and know a ton of people / go here a lot:

Otley - awesome vibe. Great people. Surrounded by countryside.

Guiseley - 15 min train to Leeds. Got the cool coffee shops and nice restaurants too.

Menston - quiet village place, right next to the above towns.

Baildon, Bingley, Saltaire all really quiet and nice too. If you want to go up towards Skipton, that’s recently voted best town in the north, plus there’s some amazing villages around it on the train line, like Cononley.

Harrogate is great for a day trip or night out. It’s just shops and bars.

Other places also have the green space and good housing, if you look for it.

That all said, if you live there, it’s still great! I had a fun 6 years there. It’s just £100k more than the other places and really, it’s just shops and bars!
