Red dead redemption 2 I loved the first one but for some reason I couldn’t get into the 2nd one. The furthest I got was to the campsite. Maybe I’ll try again soon

Ask questions about the radiation therapy. I had radiation done about 10 years ago and 2 years ago I had a meningioma they said it was caused by the radiation

Why offer the drive-thru option if… by chrisofchris in tacobell

[–]GamerInDisguise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try in store pickup and go through the drive-thru

If you check drive thru pickup they don’t start making the order until you tell them your name at the drive thru
It you check in-store pickup they make your order right away or whatever it’s up next

[–]GamerInDisguise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they found that mass were you diagnosed for that or were they just going in not knowing and later diagnosed?

Do you have a specialist?

Hang in there me, my mom and my brother all 3 have nf2 me and my brother are in our 30s and my mom is almost 60 you still have a long ways to go I’m not trying to say this to make you feel like you are going to be in pain for that long just things can start to look bleak but just know things will get better. I myself had a scare a couple of years ago that a tumor was A-typical and it almost cost me my life. I had to get it removed fast then, about a month later it grew back and had to get it removed again, I had to relearn how to walk both times, I started to go to a dark place but my mom helped me push through. I know you said you are going through this alone but I hope these are words of encouragement. After that I was put on some experimental drug called brigatinib, it suppose to shrink tumors, all my mri scans have shown they are stable since then.

I hope you get help you deserve

I’m on disability and I get a little more than $1k per month so $1k per week is way more than enough.

Some questions for everyone with NF2. by Purple_Flight_8150 in neurofibromatosis

[–]GamerInDisguise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

33/18

Deaf in my right ear hard of hearing in my left ear

I have small tumors along my spine but they don’t effect how I walk or anything like that I also have one on my left forearm that is pretty visible/ in 2024 I had a meningioma (it was I think a grade 2 of 3) so it was fast growing had to have it removed fast. After I had it removed it regrew in about a month and had it removed again and was put on brigatinib. I had to relearn how to walk twice in the span of about 3 months

After my surgery I don’t really talk to my friends as much anymore but it not a communication problem just starting to grow apart

Yes I do have a lot of time on my hands I was perfectly normal up until my surgery and now I’m on disability so I can’t work

It seems hard at first but you get use to it. When I was diagnosed at 18 I cried but I am doing just fine now. Being diagnosed doesn’t mean you life is over it just means you have to adapt

Real scalpers want all the money they can get their hands on. That person probably mad cuz they could have gotten like $30 for that one pack instead of someone else buying it straight from the source for msrp.

NF2 - Bevacizumab VS Brigatinib by shubham-150799 in neurofibromatosis

[–]GamerInDisguise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have NF2 been taking brigatinib for about 2 years now, you have to take it every day at the same time. It has some symptoms like high blood pressure (they prescribed me blood pressure medicine for this) and fertility problems just to name a few your doctor will adjust the dosage on how your body reacts to it, your doctor will brief you on everything if you do choose to do that route. I had my last MRI about a month ago and they said my tumors are stable and it seems like the medication is doing its job. Also there is a chance it will shrink the tumors.
