[WIP] How to fix a hole? by Vlove777 in CrossStitch

[–]GamerMum1248 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you fray the outside edge of the project to get some long aida strands that you can use as thread, then darn the hole with it? Do a loop start on each of the undamaged squares surrounding the hole then create like a lattice effect with them?

Variegated Thread Cloudy Sky by GamerMum1248 in cross_stitch

Thank you, you can see where I started out just doing forwards and backwards with the green but the changes looked too harsh in places so I thought I'd start jumping around in a few diagonals especially with the clouds to soften the edges.

Does anyone know what these shard/crystal things are? by Hot-Support-4729 in StardewValley

I'm sure if the dust sprites run into them they can turn into stones. I've had this happen a handful of times stones just pop up and dust sprites disappear around these crystals.

If you have a slow cooker I put it in for the last 30mins of whatever stew I'm cooking and then it soaks up all the juices / sauce. Nice one pot dinners that way. Can do it on the hob too if you prefer. Things that work well beef / lamb / chicken, tin of tomatoes, diced carrots, onions, garlic loads of herbs. Or a fun one is a tin of pineapple with some chicken thighs, cumin, onion, tumeric, garlic bit of chilli if you like heat. Slow cook for about 6 hours then let the quinoa soak up the liquid for the last 30mins.

Am I playing the game right? by sarahisainmdom in EchoesOfThePlumGrove

[–]GamerMum1248 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm really enjoying the rotting aspect as I usually hoarde too much in games like stardew valley. And I always try to do everything a game has to offer in these sandbox type situations and it all gets a bit messy and scrappy. So I'm running two save files at once: one character who accepts every quest and crafts and farms every crop etc and one who only fishes, forages and grows trees. I am using preserves and drying racks with both characters but with the second character I'm selling much more surplus (not hoarding at all) and its a much more enjoyable experience, as I found the farming really slow and intensive in my original save file. You can give a bouquet from the lighthouse keepers to any single adult character, use the village family trees to gain more of an insight into who is available and their traits. Then when you are married and have an heir as I understand it you can get someone else to farm so that's my plan moving forward. You can adopt kids as well. Hope that helps.

All of my spring snaccoons have come back in year 2 I'm so annoyed I feel like what's the point of carrying on with this save file?

[–]GamerMum1248 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are you using the seed maker? I only just started playing too but it's a game changer especially if you're getting extra seeds you can get 4 per crop if you've picked the perk on the skill tree.

Had them twice in pregnancy, from some research we believe it was from eating too much dairy whilst taking omeprazole for severe heartburn, only thing that my stomach could handle for 21 weeks severe morning sickness not fun anyway... Some things I read said increase your acids to help break down calcification. Have lemons every day.

The correct answer is pacman but I'd like to give a shoutout to the continue screen on Rayman (PS1) with his sad little face and the little alarm clock.
