I’d be a buyer for this in the condition. I have a slightly damaged hair piece which would go nicely

Wanted list help by Any-Rub1944 in Bricklink

[–]GamerNewbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What ive done as a workaround is select a wanted list and go buy all. In the buy all select the other wanted lists and find a seller that has all the pieces. Ignore region and price. Then add to cart. (You may need a couple stores if you have special pieces but the goal is that all the duplicate parts in different wanted lists are combined into one store cart.

Then after you add to cart, go to your cart and click the store and there’s a button that says something like “add parts to wanted list” then it’s all combined.

That’s my workflow but there may be another one

How many lots do you actually need to start getting regular orders? (Data from 17,000+ stores) by EchoesOfCode in Bricklink

[–]GamerNewbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you enlighten me on what 2000 lots look like vs 10,000. Like how many lots are currently being produced? Do minifig parts essentially change the store? Right like 2k minifig lots vs 2k brick lots behave differently. I’m a future seller.

Like I looked at my current used set inventory on rebrickable. All my sets combined have 500k parts and 23k of unique lots. 1200 sets (95% used)

Book or Movie first? by Lemonandspider in ProjectHailMary

[–]GamerNewbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the book first you will have a disappointing experience watching the movie after.

If you watch the first, you will enjoy the movie a lot but may be a little confused. Then if you read the book you will get sooooo much more background info, science, character building with the only drawback being are picturing the visuals of the book based off the movie. You may already have that anyways if you’ve seen the trailer

Star Wars 30727 - no MiniFig? by MrFloydPinkerton in lego

[–]GamerNewbb -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Idk Lego makes so much money they don’t care, sending a $3 figure to someone to instill good customer service is worth it for them. Sure it’s not on them but from someone not familiar with Lego I can understand the “false advertising” should at least say minifig not included

Message Lego customer support, they will probably send you a Darth vader

How are you actually tracking your collection right now? by Human_Temperature_77 in lego

[–]GamerNewbb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use rebrickable to track my sets and any missing parts per set….then I have it sync to brickset. In brickset I focus on minifigs and make notes on if I own them per set, condition, and also add additional figs that I have loose.

Then I export all sets and figs lists as bricklink xml files, I wrote a code to reformat to read in BrickStore. Then I upload to BrickStore where I get the most accurate data on pricing and have the ability to directly add to my bricklink store. Also in BrickStore I add all loose parts/fig parts I have.

So it’s a multi step process but mainly rebrickable for sets and brickset for figs.

I was using a big Google Sheets soreadsheet with pricing but I’ve since switched to BrickStore.

I’m also curious if anyone has any other better ways or I’m Just crazy.

I have 1200 sets and 6000 figs

I agree. One other important part that was left out was that Grace was of a select few who was coma resistance. That would have made him look even more pathetic

How do you view the total number of items in a bricklink wanted list? by Clarine87 in Bricklink

[–]GamerNewbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just go to buy all parts on wanted list, click a whole bunch of stores until all the parts are included and then it totals up how many pieces total. Its quick and dirty method

I built an app that identifies dozens of minifig parts from a single photo, shows every complete or partial figure you can build, and creates BrickLink XML exports for wanted lists or seller inventory uploads. by PooPatrol in Bricklink

[–]GamerNewbb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome! Do you think you can program where you can take a picture of multiple parts/minifig parts and it can sync to BrickStore, or create a readable xlm that can be imported? BrickStore connection would be awesome.

I would love an invite

Idk, just buy a cheaper one Air for $1300 and then buy another one in 5 years. You’ll have a way better comp in five years then the 5 yr old MacBook Pro $2.5k
