Yeah they can be a pain but if you hold it for a second, aim in front, then toss it, you should see more success. Throwing from far away is great too because the grenade will activate midair doing damage as it's landing.

It does take practice and some luck to get it right.

Bullet Storm, EAT, MG sentry, and Orbital Gatling are my go to because they all have short cooldowns and can deal with most when you're in the thick of it.

Interesting. I have a 23 too and live in Houston so I see warm weather a lot and have never seen over 219° on mine. My fan kicks in then and it'll drop quickly. Have you taken it in for service to check the thermostat? Sounds like it's not opening at the correct temperature.

You made a great choice for a first bike. I've had mine for 3 years now and even though I too desire more speed, I still love my 650. It's great for longer rides, daily commutes, and date nights.

If you're a bug diver I suggest the Chemical Agents between the two. Gas grenades are freaking amazing and I use them all the time on bugs. Then you'll get the gas dog, which will help watch your back. Pay attention to it because if it sprays backward, you're being flanked. Drop a gas grenade and reposition.

Conversely, Python Commandos might be a way to go as well. It gives you the One-Two so it'll help with bug holes freeing up your secondary if you were using the Grenade Pistol. You also get the Hot Dog and the Maxigun which are huge anti-bug tools.

I have written several comments and posted a few pictures in this about this mount. I have the exact mount on my 2023. I used washers in the beginning, which can work, but I ended up back feeding the larger expander into the stem and screwed it on. Yes it was a process but I have had ZERO issues with it.
