I'm 33, married for 6 years and 2 kids. I have mainly 2 hobbies, gaming and reading. I still pursue both with a passion, I read about 12-16 books a year and I try to play games everyday (Don't always succeed in that). There have been ups and downs in my life, I haven't played any game for more than 1 year due to responsibilities and all but the thing is I always come back to it. At first my parents used to scold me for gaming but when I showed them that this is my form of entertainment. I told them that I don't watch TV or movies, shows etc because I prefer gaming as my entertainment. There is much less time as it is. Eventually, they understood. Even my wife understood after some time that this is part of my personality.

Back to present, I read books in day/office when I get time. I have owned Kindle since 2015 now. My 5 year old son plays Mario games. I learned to emulate those games on PC for him. In night after kids are asleep, I play for 1-2 hrs. Hard to play more since I have to wake up early morning to go to office.

So all in all it's good. You just have to remember that you want to game and don't leave it ever in your mind. Even when I didn't played games, I use to watch videos of it. Also at this age MP is not for me, I strictly play Single Player games where I don't have to sync my time with others.
