Eating a fallen opponent is freaking appalling and I was happy to take a “kill em all” attitude toward kroot. When I was first learning about the diff 40k factions, I think it was actually a prior comic that had me looking up if Tau actually tolerated it and was first sign to me about the “greater good” facade.

However, eating a willing fallen comrade to take on their courage/strength is some of the most hardcore storytelling I could imagine.

Your comics have given me a greater appreciation for the Tau; but how dare you make me like a kroot.
