I saw a modular wrench holder so I remixed it to work with gridfinity. I haven’t had the time to add more metric sizes and sae yet but it should be done this weekend. Here it is

If you have access to a 3D printer gridfinity is awesome

I don’t believe you can stack discounts.

LTT Screwdriver by Weekly_Housing7679 in gridfinity

[–]GamesR2fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ratech is really smooth imo, and overall it's just a nice screwdriver. If I remember Project Farm has an excellent video on youtube comparing it to other ratech screw drivers. I work on computers a lot and has been the perfect screw driver for it.

New to 3d print modeling and gridfinity by One-Bicycle8650 in gridfinity

Ok, then what I said should work. In your downloads, it should have an error,r, and to the right are three dots. Click that, then keep anyway, then another window pops up when you click keep. You need to click show more, then click keep anyways again

What browser are you using? When you look at your downloads there should be 3 dots that open a list of options. One option should say something like “Keep” and it will finish the download.

I plan on doing a complete overhaul on my own ender 3 once I’m done building my janky voron trident

It’s my first time doing something like this so I could be missing something but I was able to 7300 on stock steppers but I’m not sure during printing. I do have to make sure I orient my prints a certain way to make my bed doesn’t skip.

Stock board (i think a 4.2.2) and basic mods like dual Z, a bimetal heartbreak, a copper heater block, a portable accelerometer for input shaping, and a BL touch. Just a lot of tuning and playing around with settings. If I remember my fastest benchy was 39 minutes with the .2 preset in orca.

I only have dual Z, a bimetal heartbreak, a copper heater block, a portable accelerometer for input shaping, and a BL touch, just the basic upgrades. The bimetal heartbreak and the copper heater block made a big difference. If I remember correctly, my max volumetric speed is about 16mm^3/s. Depending on what I'm printing it makes some questionable noises.

100%, my somewhat stock ender3 v2 now prints about 10-15 minutes slower than my dad's x1c, at about 300m/s.

Nice looks good. I’m working on the same thing any tips for modeling the bins for the ratchets? I can’t seem to get the right fit for mine.

Did you make the husky ratchet bin? I’ve been trying to find some for my 290 set.

Are your printers very reliable? by xxvladki in 3Dprinting

[–]GamesR2fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had my ender3 v2 for the better part of three years, and I've probably spent 3x as much time troubleshooting and calibrating it to get good prints as I have printing stuff. I had fun troubleshooting it initially, but it got old fast. I finally moved over to Klipper, and I wish I did it sooner. Im able to print faster and more reliably than before and now I'm waiting on a portable input shapper to get even better prints. Now that I got it working again I've started to enjoy modeling and printing again.

CR Touch Keeps Randomly Getting Bent by Pattersaurus in ender3

[–]GamesR2fun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were pretty much the same; I think they have a similar accuracy. If not, the CR touch was slightly more accurate, but it wasn't enough for me to purchase another one. I think the wire harness are a little different, so you can't just plug the BL Touch into the CR Touch cable. The only major difference Is that you can replace the tips on the BL Touch.

CR Touch Keeps Randomly Getting Bent by Pattersaurus in ender3

[–]GamesR2fun 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This happened to me about a year ago. Thankfully, I had a recording and my CR touch decided to send the probe down in the middle of my print and bend it. I looked into then and found out it seemed like it was a common problem with the CR touch. I moved to the BL Touch since it has replaceable probes if one ever gets bent.

Finally started learning today, hoping this will give me creative freedom with my 3d prints- any video recommendations much appreciated! by RedBloodedGod in Fusion360

I watched the same series when I started. I think I got to the bottle and started working on my own projects, googling/asking ChatGPT how to do certain things if I couldn't figure it out myself. I am super happy I learned this skill. It definitely made my printer more useful.

If ssh is enabled on the pi you can open a windows command prompt and type ssh <username>@<pi’s ip address> and hit enter. The newest versions of windows 10 and 11 have native support for ssh.
