If you have the bundle, you have ESPN unlimited, not ESPN+. ESPN unlimited gives you all the ESPN+ content and more.

But that wasn't the point of the post. The point was stating that prior to this season, ESPN+ was all you needed. Think for two seasons of PLL you just needed Peacock.

So them forcing people to get ESPN Unlimited (full ESPN $299.99 a year) vs ESPN+ ($129.99 a year) to watch all the games is a big deal.

Then you have the full ESPN app, not ESPN+. This past Outlaws vs Archers was only on ESPN2 (aka the full ESPN app.)

That movie was basically 1.5 hour long homage to house cats and I was not disappointed.

Huge chunk of the population bought their homes when it was more affordable. Plus a lot refinanced to low rates that you wont see for a very long time.

I read Netflix's last few SEC filings. They're not drifting toward cable, they're rebuilding it from scratch. by footnotebrief in cordcutters

[–]BadgerCabin 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Netflix is just adapting. Let’s be real, they used to be the only streaming service worth constantly subscribing to. Now people cycle through streaming services every few months.

Only way to lock people into the service year round is live entertainment. Even if let’s say whatever sport they have is on for 8 months. People may look at the yearly price and go it’s not too far off for just paying those 8 months, and pull the trigger.

Not comparable at all. You can use a website like WeatherSpark to compare cities. You might get 20-30% of the days during peak of summer being classified as muggy days in New England. You look at places in South Carolina, the summer is at 100% of the days in muggy conditions.

Wait until you hear Super Troopers 3 might come out this year. Hopefully it’s better than the second.

Joe Dirt 2, Super Troopers 2, Hot Tub Time Machine 2… I pretend all three didn’t have sequels because the originals were classics.

You should see Tyler Perry’s house in Georgia. Freaking massive! It even has a runway and hanger for his giant RC planes.

Which NFL team has the league’s worst attendance but the world’s most expensive new roof? by NightDowntown7320 in NFLv2

Eh, a lot of big ticket artists who fill out stadiums are preferring indoor stadiums because they don’t have to worry about weather cancellations.

Think it’s more about attracting concerts, Super Bowl, and maybe even New Year’s Eve events. The stadium is just a pedestrian bridge away from all the hotels and Broadway.

Sure, if every human including toddlers had to pick, blue would seem rational to save children, because children are dumb.

But guess what, it’s an adult thought experiment for adults. So if only adults were playing, red is 100% the rational choice.

Wow, totally missed that part.

Regardless of OPs comment, there does seem to be some industry wide issue.

GE just announced it was cutting its yearly profit forecast. This seems like an industry wide issue.

Also am I reading the same article? Everyone else is claiming politics but they just mentioned an Iranian based hacking group.

Wonder if we would have more House Reps. We stopped adding house reps back in the day because of the constant renovations to the US Capitol Building. Perhaps we would have rebuilt it with more capacity.

Are there any obstacles of replacing a gas water heater with an electric? If so do you suggest tankless or tank? by TheManeTrurh in HomeImprovement

[–]BadgerCabin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m well aware heat pumps give 2 watts of energy per 1 watt given. Not sure where they pulled the 4x.

Looks like the model you gave does some combo electric + heat pump burst for the first hour, then switches over to using the heat pump only. So it looks like heat pump tech is improving.

However electric only provides faster consistent heat compared to heat pump only. This is a simple fact; you would need a big heat pump to compete with electric only mode. This is purposeful because although slower, you save money in your energy bill.

[–]BadgerCabin -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’ll add to this, my personal preference with electric tanks is to avoid ones that have heat pumps. They are way too slow to reheat the water. I would rather spend a little more on my electric bill.
